Nah, ZE Kelly was a psychologist and a coward while SH Kelly is a natural leader and writer.

@Bloodhawkereaper if that was a challenge, I’d throw away my prosthetic arm and exchange it for a fire ax. If I can’t go that, then I’ll name my character Rick Grimes.

Edit: @JimD on the subject of Sifer. If we tell her we live nearby, will she appear near our neighbourhood on our next encounter? She said we’re the first person not to try and actively kill her and she knows how to work well together, so perhaps she will seek us out later for an alliance? Hell even Mallory would have her around even for a little bit, seeing how useful she can be.

Found one bug so far. I fell into the hole in the boarded up house and decided to kill the zombie while it was trapped, but in the next scene the game seemed to think it was still alive and trying to kill me.

So the patch notes mention a ā€œRachelā€. Anyone met her yet?

Could possibly be Sifer, she mentions that isn’t her real name I think?

Is the ā€œRestore gameā€ option disabled?

I’ve done run-throughs in the city and countryside and I’m wondering. Will Find, Lisa and Gary be recurring characters? Gina’s scene and the way you handle it with her seems like you will see her again at some point.

Why can’t I play?

Where is the new stuff? I am so focused in crafting and kill soldiers for gear than game ended before I could raid the houses. I didn’t know anyone new, But I have tons of weapons!!! Beretas , Rifles shootguns a bow. Killing soldiers is the best!! I don’t know what it’s new but Mara Has tons of stuff for her and for Titus. I would play again to search new stuff
Edit: @JimD your game doesn’t let me kill the stupid woman bla bla , trying to tell me her life so my character lied and Thought" Nah, That women is useless as hell. I would trick her with my charisma and when she drop the guard BOOM bereta to the face. Then a wild bug appeared like a pokemon Chapter 2 line 12785 Non_existant variable ā€˜sifer’

I’ll address specific comments later but want to say the game has so many skills and items and complexity that updates seem to have little content. The boarded house location is 30,000 words. Is that a waste? Maybe. But I want to have replayability through the roof. Bear with me. Chapter 3 will be more linear and more like ZEX.

Restoring save seems to not be working.

My comment wasn’t trying to imply that the update was bad, or worthless. I love your game so much, that I ended focused on stuff and game time ended before I could searched new stuff, lol. I can understand the fact there are so many options available that I am not reading 10% of the total text.
Also I am creating new characters for role playing, If you want I write for you the new ones bio. Or via pm.

Restoring games has to be fixed. It’s not a supported Choicescript feature anymore.

I found a spelling mistake in chapter 2, when I selected ā€œCall my neighbor, Parker.ā€
Then
ā€œI decided to stay home once I heard about the outbreak,ā€ I say, to keep my reason vague.

In chapter 1 I noticed that if you start in the country you have the option to call 4 neighbours, but if you start in the city or suburbs you can only call 3 neighbour’s.
I found this spelling mistake in chapter 2 when I visited the boarded up home.
I selected ā€œExamine the busted water pipe.ā€
Then ā€œKill the zombie. He’s the immediate concern.ā€
I chose to shoot the Zombie.

Add a full stop after ā€˜skull’.

@JimD do your zombies rot like corpses if so at what rate and if they do does this mean they have a shelf life or does the virus protect the brain stem from rotting which I assume is all that it really revives?

@JimD The conversation with Sifer seems to be bugged. After she introduce herself to us, we are immediatly attacked by zombies. I look into code and i think that to fix this you need to delete + from *set count +0

The last option was greyed out; and I could not craft an item. I suggest adding a ā€œrestā€ option here. I could not advance the time, no matter what I did.

summary

This session I felt more frustrated from beginning to end; loop-error not related, the police-officer experience had awesome potential but I felt trapped to follow a scripted path.

I never tried being a cop is so anti all i usually role. However, I really think about doing one to offer a total different type of policy playthrough usually people do feedback. Mara the policewoman lol.
