@Vurguzz – thanks very much. I found the issues from your info. I also fixed the spelling errors. The last one is more of a style thing than typo.
Any new developements on the game?
I am working on finishing the supply mission and then the medicine run. By Monday, I should have the full supply mission available to beta test.
Thx
Real good game
I played it lots of times
So is the supply done?
Yes, I am testing it now, but I am guessing it will be up around 9 EST tonight.
It is posted up to the end of the supply run when you arrive back to the cathedral. The next step is to tie it together with the other missions, and I’ll start writing that soon.
I ran out of time tonight and wish I could test more but figured it was ok for others to start testing.
when you choose to kill Javier in supply run it get an error…
It should be fixed now. Thanks for letting me know!
Also gives an error when you take the motorcycle.
Really loving the game!
After I killed Javier I was asked what to do with him. So I took Javier with me and he could even speak! What a strange zombie…
Not so sure about this one:
The next shelf is a goldmine of batteries of every shape and sizes from AAA to car and truck batteries.
Isn’t it size?
I’ll check these all out tonight. Trying to account for all of the possibilities creates a ton of paths for me to test, so I appreciate the feedback.
Javier, once dead, is dead – he’s not a vampire. That would be a different CoG
@Vurguzz i see waht your talking about lol. i killed him then took him with me in the truck and he talks!
He struggled quite a bit but Javier is now dead… if you refresh your browser.
Why does Javier attack you? If it’s answered in there, don’t tell me and I’ll try to find out myself.
Hey Jim. So I tried out that supply run again, after I had done so before and it had crashed. First off, it was nice to see the slight increase in carrying capacity – it makes sense, since I myself am REALLY weak, yet I could carry an AK-47 and a knife. At the same time, I somehow felt like I was cheating, since I had less to play with before.
Second off, it crashed. Heh. But not at that part I was having trouble with before; this time, I went down and due the increase in carrying capacity, I had a flashlight with me. I checked out the supply room until I heard a phone ringing, and went over to the phone and picked it up. I gave them my first name, and when they said to give them the location, I just remained silent until I finally hung up. Then, the game crashed.
This is where the game stopped:
"You slam the phone down and stand up. From the overhead speakers, you hear sirens and the sound of the female voice:
“Pick up the control panel phone.”"
And then an error popped up with the error of: “()”
And that was that. No options or anything.
Once again, let me say that the game is fantastic; it is amazing how much care and attention has gone into all options, despite how many there are. Thanks again for making this.
@Scelous thanks, I will check it out. That part was hard to code but I think that phone call adds a lot to the story. I appreciate your playtesting.
Those people on the phone (ex military i think) will they show up again
U start on the
-SMALL SPOILER-
pharmacists chapter yet or u still working on the “military base”
Hey Jim, the game crashed immediately after I killed the zombies before I was able to speak on the phone. Its possible that my computer is to blame though, because it’s been acting kind of strange lately.
