Looking Great guys Keep it up
Who controls the desert north of drindithia?
Action for the day.
The Oymaci continue to trade with the Desar and evantually allow them complete access to the tunnels. The Oymaci over the years have been wanting to improve their offense and defense, lots of rocks reside in the tunnels and some have very shiney hard things inside. The Oymaci plan to try to seperate the rocks from the metals, they plan to export it as trade and make weapons, pots and pans, Jewelry,Uyum strings and reinforce the tunnel walls. They allow the Desar to help them.
In order to diminish the deaths from sickness the Crudal start a new tradition.Burning away their dead. They also, for the same reason create special pools where they clean themselves and other for the clothing. From this water of course they don’t drink. Also the pool is emptied and refilled every week.
I’m starting to ‘feel’ (Get it?) a pattern where the Sentients sometimes do something first, and other civilizations soon follow. I think my people are one smart Civilization! So uh, Rockbou? Being in the forest, you might wanna go to the coast, near the shining water (that might make the stars harder to see). I’m sure that in a forest, you don’t exactly have fields void of trees to look up at the stars.
Anyhow, now that my bragging session is over, I’d like my people, for the next 200 years, to send up a flare in the sky to contact other friendly Civilizations available for trade. If any Civilization responds to our call- trade them toy flares that spout from the ground. If any does not or if we have any spare time, begin refining my settlement’s infrastructure.
@Happy a flare? How are you going to do that. Dont you need gunpowder for that
The Sentients invented Flares, fire that flew to the sky. The technology of flares are still primitive, though.
@Happy Actually, what the Sentients invented was machines that shoot projectiles. Think catapults and such.
Oh… HOLY MOLY. Fine, I’ll launch sticks/crops (not arrows) on fire then! $-) That should be a good flare. Especially in the grasslands. Does anybody want an piece of fresh, hot corn on the cob?
Remind me never to leave my computer up when I’ve been drinking…
Thank you probably Jason for deleting my stuff…
The Loux at this time come united by their first king, whose first act is to focus on the fortification of Noveauville, building pallisades and such
i have a feeling the desar could become a large trade/transportation nation ummmmm
action : the desar spend the next 200 years trying to turn the cikari from violent lizards to something much more like horses, with oymacis help (and their shroom cultivation) they have a much higher chance of it working this time then the other 400 years of trying ! and to also just be more friendly and nice to the oymaci.
Action of the day:
As Varone held against Garvoi attack after Garvoi attack, the Feradians realized that they had to start thinking offensively. By taking advantage of their great sense of sight and their reflexes, as well as the Garvoi’s inability to see, the Feradians learned to blend in with the surroundings and to detect living things from distances that would otherwise be impossible to see. They used this training to perfect their ability to ambush and hit with deadly efficiency. The fact that the spears they possessed saved them from having to get up close and personal with the Garvoi was a much needed advantage, one that they used in order to try to regain the forest from the menacing bats. This elite band of Feradians would come to be known as the Awakened, in honor of the memory of Avrik the Awakener.
Lurker here. @Happy you might draw attention from hostile neighbors, not just friendly neighbors. Not sure I would do that.
@Gameover - I don’t really see any hostile neighbors near me. Besides from the Drindnites, across the mountain range. The Afaceres though, I wouldn’t really worry about until they actually expanded outwards. I’m sure they would overpopulate the Ecosystem due to having very few settlements.
(And this is probably the reason why I almost always lose in a game of RISK.)
There’s a marauding band of my kin somewhere out there…
Would it be possible if I can absorb/assimilate them into my culture and send them out as Sleepers/Civilians…?
Oymaci and Desar alliance seems to be going great!
I doubt it. They are warrior through and through. Remember what the did to the dwellers? Besides their by the emerald ocean now. And aren’t you at all worried about launching something into to air, only to have it come down and set the forest on fire?
In the Grasslands, nope. Usually, a fire in the grasslands is pretty beneficial.
Hi everyone. I have been working on a codex, or action list, mapping out the actions of each race and the effect it had on them. I’ll update and post the codex after hahaha posts the results for today.
But first a quick question. I haven’t included the population of each race in it. Would you like me to include that, so as to see how each action if affecting your population growth?
