World of Darkness fan game?

I’ve been a fan of both World of Darkness(/Chronicles/Exalted/etc.) and Choice of Games for longer than they’ve collaborated, and I have An Idea. But before I try to create this idea, I have a couple of questions.

  1. I know that, as using ChoiceScript is not the same thing as having a hosted game, nothing is stopping me from making something just for my friends. I also know that the Dark Pack agreement exists and how it works- and I’d be happy to go chat with them on their Discord if I actually manage to get a working demo going, i.e. if the project looks like it might be completable. It would be awesome to make a whole game, put it somewhere public, and link my Ko-fi, but I plan on following every rule I need to follow.

Are there any other restrictions, caveats, or suggestions I should know about before going in?

  1. Since I’m definitely going to try screwing around with a little demo for my friends at least, is there any easy way to look at or obtain the coding used for the WoD-style stats?

If you own CoG’s WoD games, you can look at the code in any browser.

Kofi links aren’t allowed to be posted on non-licensed ChoiceScript game pages, so you would not be able to execute this plan exactly as is I’m afraid. You can confirm this rule on their FAQ:
