Full wolf form no. Partial shifted so long as you remain humanoid yes.
Looking forward to seeing how magic works in the partial shift!
Its nothing special really. Works the same as when you’re in human form, only difference being you may have your claws out or wolf man form taken. Not sure if that would be considered OP or not. But it would be an incentive to raise both wolf and strega stats up. Pretty much an all around MC that way, though at the cost of probably not getting either to max level and possibly missing out on certain spells, or ultimate wolf form.
Am still looking forward to seeing how it works!
Do cambions exist in this universe?
They exist in this universe but won’t be active in this game. I was trying to limit the types of supernaturals in the game. The closest to a active half-demon in this game would be if you go full darkside and turn into one. Well technically you’ll be full demon, since your humanity was corroded away. Though in the eyes of true demons, you’d probably still be classified as a half-demon, since you were at one time human.
Unlike true demons which are technically the angels that were cast out of heaven and into hell. Thus being the first demons, even though they are also fallen angels. The demons they themselves created are also full demons. In hell there exists half-demons, such as succubi/incubi, warlocks and other half-breeds made from the union of the true demons or their creations and human females. Though they won’t be included in this war.
Upon contemplating about the half-demons, I feel that I may as well add them in, even though it will be more work. Because why have Nephilim if their counterparts aren’t included. Also, I’m gonna make them be another faction that you can ally with. But only if you are corrupted enough. If not, you’re locked out of joining with that faction.
Though, like with the Nephilim, the Cambion will be similar. Meaning their true ancestors won’t be active in the war; no actual angels or true demons. Their factions will strictly consist of their own kind and the humans they’ve recruited/corrupted into their ranks.
Also more info about the demon path. If you become fully corrupted and become a demon, you will lose access to your witch magic and wolf abilities. Reason being you have no soul anymore, as such you cannot use witch magic. As for the wolf, your body and with it your wolf was destroyed. So what powers/abilities do you have now? Well its replaced with different stats and abilities. that demons possess. Your magic is more powerful and you have no reason to fear the Universe taking action against you for your atrocities; as your soul is already destroyed. So you are more versatile now and you have greater physical abilities now too among other abilities; such as being able to take on a demon form, etc.
I just have to come up with a new stat to call the demon magic/abilities, also it won’t start off empty. I’m thinking about converting your strega stat and use that as the base for your new demon stat. The wolf I may add that to your physical stats so it wont go to waste. Also that path will have RO(s) only available if you are able to join that faction.
Right now these are just ideas that I’m considering for the game. The faction will be added in regardless. The parts I’m considering are regarding the demon path. What do you all think of these additions?
Sounds awesome, but does having a high/max corruption lock us out of some factions?
High corruption no, I’m still on the fence about max corruption though. If you say for example join and ally with both the witch and wolf factions before you’re fully corrupted, then I think you would be safe. If you’re fully corrupted, then I’m thinking about them not taking you in, as you’re no longer one of them. You’re only option then would be to stay solo and wreak destruction on your parents murderers, join up with the Cambion and have them help you take revenge; they’re demons, they’d love it or team up with the Cambion and with them try and win the war. I may make it possible to still go for the peace ending as a demon, but I have to think about it.
So, you’re like immortal or once you die you no longer exist (no afterlife, nothing since there is no longer a soul)? Or you dying is not a possibility in this game so no need to think about it?
But what happens when you reached max corruption after you joined them? Will they kick you out?
No you’re not immortal, you can still be killed. I should probably rephrase that. Instead of destroyed, lets say once its fully corrupted, it corrodes and mutates into something dark and inhuman, purging the vestiges of humanity you had left and all that’s left would be your will, desires, etc. Your body is then destroyed and your mutated soul then transforms into another form, only human like in appearance. With this new form, you are no longer the frail human shell you used to be.
You are stronger, faster and now posses demon magic and abilities you didn’t have before. Such as being able to take on demon traits/characteristics, of which depends on your demon stat (place holder stat), think of it as replacing the wolf stat. While the demon magic would replace the strega stat. I think I may do it this way, since they essentially serve the same purpose.
However you can still be killed. Especially if you try to do everything solo, stats will play a heavy role in the war and if you are lacking, make bad battle choices not inline with your strengths, don’t pay attention to your energy meters, etc you can be killed.
@Nightgazer
No, they won’t kick you out, once you’re in, you’re in. Because you’ve already developed a bond with them and such. You however can choose to leave if you so desire, lets say if you change your mind and want to be solely with the Cambion faction after your transformation. Or want to go solo, etc. The war will happen near the end, so there is time to decide the path your MC will eventually take. Because the actual story starts when you’re 14, I’m thinking of making the game take place over several years. Similar to how the prologue is, but more in depth. Because its not feasible to be able to just up and win a war when you barely know anything about magic at all, etc. much less being a 14 year old.
- OK, fixed all the typos listed that I could find, except for “Its fights against you as it struggles to breathe.” as I couldn’t locate it.
- Added reckless/cautious bar
- Added a new option/scene to the stairs choice, it will add courage/reckless points.
- Had the original descent option changed to give both courage/cautious points.
I love it so much
Finally a game where you can play a werewolf!!! loved it so much, was really waiting for something like this
