You can officially align yourself with Julian/a at the end of chapter three, but you have to stay with the others as a kinda spy afterwards.

Will there be a point in the story, probably towards the end I assume, where we can publicly step over to Julianas side and work together?

Also I’m not really interested in the polys just curious on how a poly with Andreas and Julian/Juliana would actually work since he’s already dating someone who personally hates them and they’re on opposite sides? And if you’re not doing the polys and just going after Julian/Juliana does he just show up in scenes with them or do we get to avoid them and just have lone scenes with J without him interacting or flirting?

Can I request more crazy talk options? I’d love to say crazy stuff more often. I want all around me to find me batshit crazy. Even though Julian/Juliana likes it. I’m her sweet little lunatic.

Yes, you can publicly switch sides about 3/4 of the way through the story.

In regards to the Andreas and Julian/a poly route, for this to be possible Andreas and Calder have to be not only broken up but severely bereaved. You also have to invite Andreas along for solo scenes with Julian/a, and pick options which foster a friendship, and later romance, between them. They are both quite similar in their personal goals and desires, so it will not be too difficult to get Andreas and Julian/a to like one another. Plus, Andreas is used to dealing with cough cough difficult, characters, considering they have been in a relationship with Calder for over three hundred years.

Julian/a will very rarely have scenes, that include the other three, until later in the game (unless you invite Andreas to accompany you on solo scenes with Julian/a) Almost all of Julian/as scenes will be you and them (with maybe Andreas) alone.

Thanks for dropping a message, I’m glad we have some Julian/a lovers here . I wanted to make a character who, while a old and powerful vampire, was still kinda incompetent and very ‘human’ in their failings. And while not being of the ‘crazy’ clan, they still have a few screws loose from merely the passage of time and personal trauma. I always think it’s weird that you have these hundred year old vampires, who are still all there, in the head, mentally. Time takes a toll, lol. Also, there are… shall I say… plot reasons as to why Julian/a is unstable, I’m really not sure how yall are gonna react to that fml

I’m looking forwards to writing some of Julian/a’s solo scenes.

So just played this today and I have to say I adore this! I love the characters (especially our homicidal puppy, you know who he is) as well as the clans involved. Also don’t know if this makes me a bad person but I can’t wait to try and tear there whole group apart from one another and raise that manipulation the highest it can go xD And of course see if I can manage to bring Jack down to basically Chaotic Evil

I have to say, If I were playing the demo, and not having been the one to write it, I would probably romance Julian/a too (or maybe Andreas), I love me some unpredictable crazy romance.

Oh trust me. You can wreck that whole group up rather thoroughly if you so desire, it doesn’t make you a bad person don’t worry I have to say I am biased to adding lots of content to evil routes, because I personally just love reading a book and literally cringing at how horrible my MC is. All your evil power fantasies shall be fulfilled! If you had not been down this particular path in chapter two: if you have a high enough manipulation and opinion with Jack, you can literally convince her to set a house on fire with someone sleeping inside. Sometimes I wonder if I go too evil when I write, I hope no one gets offended by these optional choices and routes.

So all the scenes with Julian/a, besides the ones that involve the other characters, will be with just them and you unless you invite Andreas, that’s great now I don’t need to worry about him popping in randomly. Also totally gonna switch sides to the superior vampire lol.

On my first read through I was 100% prepared to throw my Omnituen MC’s lot in with Julian (I’m ! so ! smitten !! lol), but after some heavy considersation I’ve decided to follow the story’s true Prince … Irk hahah !

Sadly, yes. I’m very much looking forward to it, but I will need some things to keep me occupied in the meanwhile.

Cyberpunk as long as it isn’t delayed yet again, Valhalla as well, and all the cog vtm things coming out will have to do.

And of course, this particular wip, especially with 100% more crazy talk and lots of Juliana love!

Omg, yes. As humans just the slightest thing is enough to rock our world mentally. It stands to reason, even if a vampire is stronger mentally, they’ve done enough things to fuck themselves over mentally at least 3 times by the time they’re 100.

This isn’t even mentioning those who weren’t all that there mentally when they were turned. If your pool of “children” is coming from the human population, then you are easily going to have vampires that started out with a touch of crazy and/or other various types of disorders/phobias/etc.

Maybe it’s the cute lunae in me, but… wouldn’t it be adorable to encounter this powerful and mighty vampire who is deathly afraid of…snakes?

Well, as you know I play nice and gentle characters - but as long as you have the option to act one way or another and are not forced to one specific route, I don’t see why anyone would be offended by the fact the evil choices exist.

Andreas will only pop up in Julian/a scenes if you explicitly invite them along, so no need to worry. You will have plenty of alone time with Julian/a lol

I’m so glad to hear you have a fondness for Julian/a and Irk. I reallllyyy wasn’t sure if people were gonna like Irk, that’s why I give the option to have Irk left out of the game entirely (and brutally butchered by Calder ). My inspiration for Irk was a character from Pathfinder Kingmaker called Nok-Nok, who is a goblin with broken speech, they are evil but in such a earnest way that they are still really likable, hilariously so. I am going to make sure that Irk also has solo scenes, in which you can get up to plenty of mischief with it!

Omg, can I steal that idea with the snakes? haha, I had not even thought of something like that. And yeah, what you say about vampires having preexisting mental disorders from their human life is true. In my ‘lore’ or ‘world building’ if you will, when humans are turned into vampires they get turned as is. Meaning any bodily damage, and any mental issues, they may have had as humans, are not miraculously repaired or cured. This plays a part in a two of the main characters backstories, one to more a degree than the other: Calder and Julian/a.

Hey Konoi, I appreciate your input on that dilema I had. It makes me feel a lot better knowing that yall are fine with the level of ‘evil’ actions you can take, so long as they are all optional. I would never want my writing to offend or hurt anyone, especially when all I wanna do is entertain and tell a compelling story and RP experience.

My inspiration for Irk was a character from Pathfinder Kingmaker called Nok-Nok

Nok-Nok was great. Loved Nok-Nok and I love irk as well. He pairs very well with a crazy mc. Oh how I’d love to have special crazy speech for him as well.

The only reason I’ve not tried being anything other than crazy is because you can’t say the adorable crazy things. I had hoped with unremarkable I could be 3 parts crazy and one part pretty. Very pretty, even more crazy than pretty.

I love Irk, such a cute little devil and so much fun to mess with. Really liked the scene where you can shove Irk into the cat flap (and for all the high-and-mighty protests, Irk doesn’t actually seem to mind being treated like a pet ).

Excellent! And yeah Nok-Nok is so great, and honestly after finishing Pathfinder, I was wanting to spend more time with Nok-Nok, so I made Irk in order to scratch that itch I had.

And yeah I see what your saying with the convo options for Unremarkable and Omnituens. I wanted some of the Omnituens dialogue to be crazy, but kinda earnest and, ‘adorable’ as you say, in a way. If you get what I’m saying.

But I see the desire to want to play as a different class, but still have access to more ‘crazy’ or ‘demented’ dialogue options. Maybe I could implement this with like a personality stat that is associated to how mentally stable you are, and then if your high enough you have access to dialogue that is more like the Omnituens dialogue, but not to that ridiculously cryptic level, and not prophetic? Just plain crazy.

I don’t know, just musing. Let me know if something like that sounds good or not to you

The only two things Irk dislikes, is being a good person and not letting him at least have his say (which is why Irk hates Calder, because he locked Irk up in a box for years, poor Irk.)

I see why some people might not like Irk though, especially if your MC is morally upstanding. I think what I’m gonna do is have a solo scene with Irk where a moral MC can train Irk, kind of Pavlovian classical conditioning style, with a clicker to be good. So whenever he suggests setting someone on fire or something the MC uses their clicker, and eventually you can train Irk to be a good little Imp.

I don’t know if this is more hillarious or disturbing
I mean, my MC is very nice and wouldn’t want Irk to be an evil pest. But at the same time, it is an intelligent being capable of speach and so on - I hardly can imagine my MC treating him like an animal and “training” him. I think he’d be too disturbed and consider doing that to be out of the question as far as his morality goes.
