The first hour or so of playthrough will start very slow and I’ll be looking more into how to start up all the relationship-building and time it well with the flow of the story so it doesn’t seem too forced from the get-go. Thanks for the feedback!

@soprano I actually was just listening to 80’s music when I thought of the idea for the game! Love your suggestion about referencing pop culture, didn’t think of that before!

why is the Title named after the ‘last’ victim , when there were similar murders like that before that one ?

@E_RedMark I guess it’s just better than calling it “The Murders of Fionn Harding, Didier Grouchel, Alan Stamp, Bacary Shmackery…and Shaun Denver” (p.s. the other names aren’t in the story in case you’re thinking)

last time I saw a game named like that…it was about just one victim .
well you could use a fancy title too lol like say that movie called ‘‘Murder by Number’’ or about the killer ? like Jack the ripper or something

@E_RedMark Honestly I’m not 100% set on the name either. I’m going to give it some time and if it still feels fitting before the game’s finished, I’ll keep it. Shaun Denver was the victim who brought the murders to their attention so maybe it does fit. Not ruling anything out though at this stage
unless all the victims were called Shaun ? Dun Dun Plot Twist!

Considering it’s a detective story, I’m 100% okay with the story starting off slow but I think the thing everyone was worried about were the choices that seemed to lead to a linear story. The relationship bit is a bit more flexible I think but either way I can’t wait to read more!

I was really caught by the title. Just from reading the title my mind floss with questions, questions that can only be answered by pressing play. Who is Shaun Denver? Is the MC Shaun Denver? Is the MC a killer? A cop? Really eye grabbing. Good luck.

This is great. The storyline so far is really captivating, and I really liked the writing style. There are a few typos here and there but it’s pretty good for the most part. Can’t wait to see the full version
