There will be ROs and after sufficient interaction you can marry them.
A lot of people will expect you to marry some noble but you can marry anyone you like.
Yup, most marriages in the noble families are arranged for political reasons.
If you mean the kingdoms of the Empire then intermarriage will cause both houses and their holdings to be combined in name, but for administrative ease they will be treated as separated entities. In short, kingdoms will come together but only in name and title.
If MC were to marrying a monarch of the Empire then the monarch will have to renounce their former titles. (like Prince Philip did when he married Queen Elizabeth)
By the way ,what is the status of electrical engineering, astronomy, and chemistry (is there a battery? Is electrolysis known? Is there a sextant? Is there a chronometer? Is the Heliocentrism common? What elements have been discovered? Has the law of mass conservation been discovered? What telescopes are used by astronomers to make observations? And how are these discoveries used industrially? )
@11110
It is now well known that lightening and electrical sparks are the same thing by experimentation, but no one has done much about it other than replicating the same experiments over and over. As such there is no battery or electrolysis.
Sextant do exist and so do chronometer (and pocket watches). Star charts are widely available for navigation at sea which have been produced by astronomers using reflecting telescope.
Heliocentrism is sacred in Solarism and as such is quite popular, especially when the scientific evidence is against geocentrism and for Heliocentrism.
There is an ongoing debate regarding mass conservation with arguments leaning in favour of the theory but nothing has been proven experimentally. About 27 elements are known which canât be divided anymore.
What is the status of social science? (For example, are there inventions of social contracts, liberalism, democracy, classical economics, etc., and are there any real-world achievements that apply them, such as like the Napoleon Codes? )
Social contract theory, liberalism and democracy, all are hot topics in the circle of philosophers. However, when their theories have implications for the ruling class, they either are warned or outright persecuted .(everywhere except for Sambron or Forli)
Many thinkers have left their native home to escape this, in Riyasan however, some still remain hoping for imperial cooperation in bringing their ideas to light.
Economics of today are quite straightforward and intuitive, Merchantilism. People believe in gold coins minted with the image of the Sovereign, called Rupik. Daily transactions are coin based, but in recent times some merchants have devised a new system.
They put some value of money in a bank and get a note for that value and they simply use that note issued by the bank to pay for merchandise. Thus, the concept of banknotes was introduced and is becoming popular. Perhaps a central bank could be established to make the whole process easier.
The best example of real world effects of democracy and liberalism is the Republic of Forli which just fought a war of independence against the Maemana Empire, right after the Riyo-Maeman war.
The Constitution of the Empire was written by Augis Sinnah and still serves as its legal framework.
Look this may sound silly but what is the battle cry? (Example vivre la france God save the king and among others) and if the grenadier regiments and other regiments have a specific
Thank you very much. By the way, could you tell us a little more about the armed forces of each country? (What kind of class and job title do you have and what kind of equipment do you have?)
Sambronian army is not particularly large consisting only of 80,000 men, but their soldiers are well drilled, and the officers are well-trained. They also have excellent logistics and higher pay which serves to maintain high morale. The Sambronian army however, is untested in the battlefield.
Navy
Sambronian navy is, without doubt the most excellent navy of the world. Sambron only has some 46 ships, but they are of high quality and crewed by the finest sailors. The food and powder supply are excellent which helps in preventing diseases and mutinies.
The Sambronian navy was only engaged with the Maeman navy, defeating their secondary fleet of 60 ships with minor losses.
KINGDOM Of ANGESA
Army
Angesan army is quite average in size and capabilities. It consists of 125,000 men. It is capable enough to defend Angesa but not good enough to fight on the mainland.
Navy
Angesan Navy is, at the moment the strongest navy of the world without dispute. It has a fleet of 138 ships crewed by battle-hardened veterans who fought against the Riyasanian Navy in the Riyo-Maeman war.
The Angesan Navy has an excellent record of victories. The most grand is the victory at the Battle of Cauric Islands where Angesan Navy trapped Riyasani ships between their island forts and their battle line.
The battle ended with 38 Riyasani ships at the bottom of the sea, 6 scuttled and 29 ships surrendering. The Angesan Navy only lost 11 ships.
MAEMANA EMPIRE
Army
Maeman army was the most powerful of world until Karl Sinnah, the previous Emperor of Riyasan defeated them at the battle of River Indus in the last stages of the war.
Today, they are 425,000 men strong with some veterans of the last war, but the majority are raw recruits lacking in discipline and experience, but their sheer quantity has a quality of its own.
The Maeman armyâs recent record is not good with some victories and a lot of defeats, but their defeats were pyrrhic victories for Riyasan. A great blemish upon them is the loss of two provinces of Forli and Fez, which seceded after the Riyo-Maeman and fought a bloody 2-year civil war.
Navy
Maeman navy is the laughingstock of the world. They have some 47 ships which are poorly designed and managed. Their commanders are incompetent, and their logistics are a nightmare to coordinate. Some wonder why Maemana even bothers with a navy.
REPUBLIC OF FORLI
Army
Republic of Forli was formed after a 2-year civil war with Maemana Empire. Their army as such is full of veterans who are well versed in the art of irregular warfare. The Forlan army doesnât have the best equipment, pay or logistics, but they make up for it by their bravery and patriotism. It stands around 100,000 strong
Navy
Forli is a landlocked country.
KINGDOM OF FEZ
Army
The Fezi army is quite unique as they donât have any infantry. Their armed forces are entirely composed of light cavalry which is a master of hit-and-run tactics, something which caused devastating damage to Maeman logistics during the civil war. The cavalrymen of Fez are brave, courageous and even downright suicidal for their tribal King.
A battle cry or cry of arms is usually a simple word or phrase, from an entity, to rally or encourage its members or followers to fight or take action.Example
Deus vult (âGod wants you!â in Latin)-war cry of the Crusaders.
Nobiscum God! (âGod with usâ in Latin) - used by the armies of the Roman and Byzantine empires, after the adoption of the religion
Allahu Akbar! (âGod is greatâ in Arabic) - used by Islamic warriors;
Caelum Denique! (âFinally Heavenâ in Latin) - used by Crusaders in the Holy Land;
Dieu le veut! (âGod willsâ in French) - used by French crusaders;
Saint Iago! - used by Christian warriors, in the reconquest of the Iberian Peninsula from the Moors, evoking their patron saint;
Montjoie Saint Denis! (âJoy for St. Dinisâ in French) - used by French royal armies, evoking the patron saint of France;
Saint George! - used by Portuguese troops from the 15th century, evoking the patron saint of Portugal;
Awakens iron! - used by the AlmogĂĄvares (light troops in the service of the Crown of Aragon, during a reconquest) and later adopted by the paratroopers of the Spanish Army
Look I have no idea but you could have an idea for a universal type by empire or other more religious scream and the regiments also had their own battle cries during the napolonic era You can build on one of these or event your own
A battle cry is a yell or chant taken up in battle, usually by members of the same combatant group. Battle cries are not necessarily articulate (e.g. âEulaliaaaa!â, âAlalaââŠ), although they often aim to invoke patriotic or religious sentiment. Their purpose is a combination of arousing aggression and esprit de corps on oneâs own side and causing intimidation on the hostile side. Battle cries are a universal form of display behaviour (i.e., threat display) aiming at competitive advantage, ideally by overstating oneâs own aggressive potential to a point where the enemy prefers to avoid confrontation altogether and opts to flee. In order to overstate oneâs potential for aggression, battle cries need to be as loud as possible, and have historically often been amplified by acoustic devices such as horns, drums, conches, carnyxes, bagpipes, bugles, etc. (see also martial music).
To understand better, Iâll cite other examples
Finnish troops in the Swedish army in the 17th and 18th centuries, would use the battle cry Hakkaa pÀÀlle! (âCut them down!â in Finnish), lending them the name Hackapell.
Irish Regiments of various Armies used and continue to use Gaelic war cries, Faugh a Ballagh (âClear the way!â) or Erin go Bragh (Ireland Forever)
The Swedish army in the 18th and 19th century would be issued with the command to attack with âFör FĂ€derneslandet, gĂ„ pĂ„, Hurra!â (For the Fatherland, onwards, Hurrah!)
During World War I in the Italian Front of 1915. Before battle, Italian Soldiers would yell âSavoiaâ or âAvanti Savoiaâ, which is âCome on Savoy!â or âOnwards Savoy!â in Italian (compare âFor the king!â among British soldiers of the same era).
I wrote this text because I thought the other one was a little confused so in this part I took it from the English Wikipedia
How much say do we have in the countryâs religion policy? Can we arrange further appointment with / asking to know more about one or all the religions after meeting the leaders? Can we appoint religious advisors as Sovereign? Can we persuade these leaders to be our political allies? How far are they able to go if they consider us their enemies?
You can make a religion, the religion of the state. You can appoint people to positions in the clergy. As for knowing more, you can invite the representatives for a discussion and accept their religion.
You can appoint clergymen to key government posts.
As for being allies, they all hope to be your allies and as such, only your future decisions will decide the relationship between you and religious leaders. It would be easy to offend Eamanvallas as they are the majority while you will have to be a real jerk to Solarins to become their enemy as they are the minority and quite accustomed to being persecuted (Maemana Empire will however, be pissed off quite a bit)
Charudiansâ tolerance sits in the middle.
As for the damage clergy might to do you depends on who you have offended. Solarins wonât be much trouble domestically but Maemana Empire will want to teach you a lesson for oppressing their brothers of faith.
Eamanvallas will cause a lot of trouble domestically, but they wonât have any international support as Riyasan is the only Eaman majority country.
Charudians will do damage in both areas, domestically and internationally as Angesa would take a dim view of your activities.
