I didn’t work on the Murder Mystery one but my friends who were on that project did SUCH a good job on it. I worked on Season 3 and most of Season 4 (I think it’s called Bombshell in the new app?), but they laid everyone off before we could edit/playtest some of the last few episodes so that was a sad way to round it off. But I was very proud of what we did and am still in touch with a lot of lovely pals from that workplace

They did the fans such a disservice by laying you all off…I.enjoyed season 3 - did you do the post-season extra they had for that one as well? It was so cute. Wasn’t it a boat party or something? Bill and Tai were my fav S3 boys, and I loved AJ and Elladine as well 
They really need to bring you all baaaaaack!!! They’ve had some really rotten (and fairly offensive) seasons since. 
Maybe you dodged a bullet… and we’re def glad to have you here!!! Sooo we benefit from their (HUGE) mistake!

I did work on the Boat Party, yes! I wrote a lot of Tai, he was lovely 
I haven’t been keeping track of stuff after me and most of my colleagues left, hopefully the people now there are being treated better! And I’m happy with where I’m at now so although it was hard at the time, all good in the end

Can I ask what the name of the game you were working on was (the murder myster yall just mentioned). If the demos still there it sounds like it would be great.
It’s Love Island: the Game, an official tie-in to the Love Island TV show. A lot of what I worked on isn’t available anymore, unfortunately, though some still is. The murder mystery isn’t playable as far as I know.

It’s not…it was such an odd choice for them to make all of the older/better material unreadable now. Maybe they got sick of hearing all of the fans complain about how new seasons “aren’t as good” as those ones…but people paid for gems to get hair/clothes/access to better scenes in those games, so making them unplayable doesn’t seem fair. That company is shady as hell…

I’m not sure about the details but I think it was because of part of the software being discontinued and unable to be updated, so it couldn’t be kept on the stores. Sadly it happens a lot especially in mobile games.

Yeah and she has a really bad habit of self-inserting herself as characters in her work and even making them romance interests. Then she gets mad that people don’t identify or like the self-insert and goes on tirades and attacks her fans. She did this in Superstition with the Witch girl who was a one night stand and again in her newer game Throne of Ashes as a main romance path. Not only that but she’s constantly rewriting and abandoning her stories.

Really? I didnt have that experience with her…I loved the SUPERSTITION series and sent her grammar/spelling/continuity notes whenever i saw something was off, and she was always nice to me about it…that makes me sad that she has a bad reputation w fans, I really love those stories.
Forsaken, definitely. I love sarcasm and my MC had the ability to have a sharper tongue than anyone in WIP history, I want it back so much! :,)
Also the fact that it wasn’t just the same “starting out and getting more known” but more like the MC was one of the most hated beings in the supernatural world also really sold it for me.

I just remembered this game Twisted Scene and posted a description in the “hey whats that game” thread and then I immediately remembered it. I checked to see if I mentioned it already here and I did but I didn’t leave a link so now I’m posting the link here if anyone wants to see what it was about since it was never ported to cogdemos and is currently unplayable. It was a real gem, I hope the author is well.

I can’t for the life of me remember the name, but you played as royal who is treated like shit by everyone and basically locked away your whole life but are suddenly married off to some important foreigner.
