Which WIP would you bring back from the dead?

The Hunger Within?

Quite a few at this point
But off top my head first one would have to be Become Mortal

Maybe you mean this one:
Bethroned by jvcruz

Hmmm, but I don’t think that’s it…

Like UmLixoFalant said it’s the Hunger within but it’s sadly abandoned: https://forum.choiceofgames.com/t/the-hunger-within-abandoned-adopted-by-another-author/132723

Yeah, The Hunger Within is the one. Sad to hear that it was abandoned, though I’m not surprised given that I’ve heard nothing about it for a long time.

It seems it’s written that someone else took the story, so let’s hope someone is working on it.

Nah it’s a different Vendetta. The one I’m talking about is about an upcoming mobster looking to avenge his murdered sister.

Yup. Frankly considering how difficult and time consuming writing IF is, we should all just be very grateful that the first book is still free and accessible.

That one is almost certainly dead

  • Subject zero, love the cyberpunk genre and I love psionic stuff so this one hurts :frowning:
  • Fell Star
  • I consider the Abyssal abandoned since the author never updates the story
  • I think it was pulse acadamy(?) the one with mechs
  • The one chosen (not sure if actually abandoned)
  • Virtue’s end (lost track of, unsure and can’t seem to find it on the forums)
  • the 40k one, where you played as a psyker for the inquisition, forgot the name (im assuming that one’s probably a copyright/ legal thing so r.i.p :frowning: )

Well, The Abyssal is supposed to get a patreon update soon according to the Tumblr, so that is awesome.

Virtue’s End is on itch I think but still have a Tumblr too I believe and still in progress last I know.

(I’m the original author) I have absolutely no news of it, unfortunately. I was in contact with the person who adopted the wip I think some weeks/months after they did so and they told me they were working on it, but that was the last contact I had with them. Hope they’re well, even if they dropped the story.

As for my own WIP, Wolf set free, I am slowly resuming work on it. I apologise if anyone got worried, and I am stunned that people still think about it

It’s hard to get that one out of your head. Thrilled to hear you’re still working on it.

Yes, GW changed their T&C a few years back so I dumped it, since it was basically a game adaptation of some actual licenced modules. Sorry. In good news Owlcat are making a Dark Heresy adaptation to follow up Rogue Trader so all is right with the world in the end.

Could possibly be Obsolete Stars?

Sorry if this link ends up looking horrendous, I’m on mobile and I haven’t commented in yonks lol

Son of Satan: Mortal Coil. I hunger for games that let me play as a real, genuine Biblical Angel instead of the depressed demon for once.

My biggest WIP that got away would always be Team Zero. The first WIP I ever felt the urge to keep an eye on. I’m not even that big of a fan of the superhero genre, but whenever a story subverts tropes and explores some well-trodden concepts in a compelling way, I’m all for it.
Another oldie but goodie is Vendetta: Rise of a Gangster.

Lost Lambs is a more recent one. What a concept. Even if murder-mystery/suspense stories are nerve-wracking (if done well).
Subject Zero was interesting too.

Bring back the Aegis Saga :frowning: the first book is a guilty pleasure of mine to read

Yeah that one is unfortunately dead. I really like it too.

There was a work in progress that I read a while ago where the MC has no powers and it’s in more of the mid evil times and they do a ritual where the MC gains powers but the powers are like demonic

this is just a guess on my part but are you talking about “beyond the gilded veil”, it fits what you are talking about, but heck there may be other similar wip
