Brilliant Game with a rather brilliant twist of 5 protagonists of different monsters species with unchosen protagonist defaults still existing as interesting companions in the quest. It’ll be 5 years tommorow since the thread was last locked.
Honestly given how good the base concept of five potential protagonists existing in the same space and interacting is, I kind of hope CoG eventually does it’s own spinoff.
I really like the Wendigo option and origin, that was the most marking part of the game for me. The vampire perspective was nice too.

Man, I JUST discovered these interactive fiction games this year and I have a goddamned dump truck load of games I wish came back. Still, the three that immediately come to mind are Abysm’s Veil, Until The Colors Bleed Gray, and that one superhero IF where you’re brought back from the dead with superpowers. I can’t remember the name, but your mentor (or you) was named Blackbird and they replaced you like Batman replaces his Robins.
The superhero one is From Ashes We Rise and yeah, i wished it would come back but oh well.
How do I get access to that? It just gives me a website not fun or whatever screen.

Heaven’s Dog was a cool idea but it hasn’t been updated since 2019.
I miss The Graves of Heirs so much! It was one of my favorites. The customization was phenomenal! I hope the author is okay and doing well.
