What genre would you like to see?

ive seen lots of zombie, vampire, and infection barely any demon ones though

@Arcania If you consider time travel futuristic, there might be a game like that coming up. Then again, time travel is futuristic and also in the past and present.

@Arcania
@Kaosorer_6
I am doing a time travel based game, yes. Though it’s more you start in a certain period (past or future) which is your native time and then you get brought to a place which combines multiple eras and places.

@derekmetaltron That’s intense 0.0 I bet @FortunesFaded could give a nice input on that.

@Arcania Thanks! I’m in the planning stages at the moments and finalising which eras to use (six historic and two futuristic) but I’m hoping it’ll end up being a good game when it’s done.

And I also believ @Nocturnal_Stillness might be working on a time travel game as well soon; ‘Project Leap’. I will be sure to checkout both games.

I’ll have to get up to date with nocturnal ^^ thanks fore note @karosorer_6 and @derekmetaltron please it’s no problem ^^

I would be very happy to see a Lovecraftian game. I enjoy Lovecraftian Horror immensely.

The author would have to be skilled. You need a good grasp of English to do the Mythos justice. I nominate Cataphrak.

@Eindride Err… As much as I like @Cataphraks work, I don’t recall him referencing Lovecraft at any point, sufficient to rate him above any of the other decent authors who have worked with this site.

@Drazen He just comes to mind when I think of people on this site who write well.

A shame we don’t have any serious horror here.

@Eindride Aye, it’s a shame, indeed, that there really aren’t any… Unless I count the realisation that I had actually given money to play games such as To the City of the Clouds as constituting horror.

Sorry guys. My grasp of Eldritch Horror is pretty weak. Most of it comes second hand, from games of Arkham Horror and Elder Sign.

@Eindride

have you played “Unnatural” I intended to write that as a serious horror game. Not sure if It turned out more action horror though.

Cyberpunk. Set in a city of madness, disease, and moral decay.

Y love cyberpunk too that’s way i set my game universe in a dystopy

@Nocturnal_Stillness wasn’t your game mostly something like @Eindride idea?

What about a CoG like dishonered? You are Bodyguard to the queen being framed for her death and must move about through a Plauge infested city assassin style.

@God_of_Demonz you’ve opened my eyes to a whole new level of ideas. But that would make an amazing cog. Sadly that would contradict my assassin game style setting.

The assassin in dishonered was also given “powers” by a mysterious being called the Outsider. There are others who have these powers however and you know one of them killed the queen.

A city’s being filled with diseases would be a nice touch to an urban setting

As long as it’s well written and feels good I’m not too picky and in fact I like to be surprised (never thought I’d enjoy a sports themed game for instance but Slammed proved me wrong).
That said my personal favourite is most likely any sort of well written Sci-fi (no particular preference for hard or soft Sci-fi although I do recognise that soft Sf and science fantasy is usually easier to write since hard SF requires a lot of research to pull off convincingly, whereas soft Sci-fi is an easy vehicle to use for social commentary) or fantasy (so long as said fantasy allows me to play some kind of magic user).
I also tend to enjoy some political intrigue and romance regardless of the setting.
