I just bought the first one and I’m pretty excited to start reading it. I was just wondering what legend points effect or if its just sort of a collectible thing. Thanks for the help guys
Legend points are how high ranked you are in the hero community. The higher your number the more famous you are as a hero. 100 is the max and is held by rebellion in the heroes rise. There’s a couple achievements associated with this.
As far as I’m aware, other than the achievements, they’re just a reflection of how well your character is doing in-universe as a hero. There’s some flavor text if you get up to 100 by the end of the 3rd game, and periodically when you gain it the narration will give you a pat on the back, but I’ve never seen them making any other difference within the game

It’s basically scorekeeping that rewards you for being consistant to the character you first established (The Lawful/Lawless and Justice/Fame stats) and for having good foresight and judgement in certain scenes.
If I’m not mistaken, you need a certain legend level at the end of the first game to avoid deaths…but that might be me misremembering.
As @Xman321 said, you need an above average legend score if you want the perfect lawful ending. I think it’s 30, but I might be wrong.

Yeah in the ending If you dont have enough legend points(60 I think 
) Eastern Fringes will burn and some/most people will die

Not if you “kill” Prodigal.

But that would be breaking the Lawful character, if you’re playing one.
Also, and I’m not sure if this is right or not, but there are some scenes like it so I wouldn’t be surprised, but I think if your Lawful is high enough it forces you to spare Prodigal anyways. Again, might be wrong though…
Yes, if you are Lawful you can’t kill her, but Legion said if you didn’t have enough Legend people would die, but it only happens if you are Lawful, if you are Lawless you can get the good ending without the Legend requirement.
