I think my character is depressed as She is like some Sort of Gandhi of werewolves and the blood and war makes her depressed. However same time My character considers that normal werewolves are less civilized and has to joining human society as equals. And she consider werewolves ugly so she won’t romance anyone of them. I found ro pushy trying almost demanding that my character bang them. I would love a future choice of say NOPE no interest in furry creatures. It is the mere idea of furry make me puke… Literally
One of my friends wants to do that themselves (partially because they really like Tiva and partially because they feel like she deserves better and they don’t trust that Lapu won’t screw up again).
Though I wonder who she’d choose if she had to make a choice on the matter: MC or Lapu (assuming he is still alive)?
Would her complicated feelings toward Lapu come to play in some way? How strongly would Lapu react to that potential consequence (fully losing the person he attempted to do so much for in the first place)?
Everyone has complex plans on how to punish Lapu, and I’m sitting here with my savage MC planning on making Lapu atone for his mistakes like

I have no idea what’s happening in that gif, so I’m just going to assume you’re intending on a shaking a camera while cursing at Lapu.
Beating the living shit out of him with a Crozius Arcanum (basically a Mace) ![]()
As I am aware you are making a sequel I’d like to help. I have knowelege In military tactics, armored vehicles, weaponry and how they operate. Especially if you need information on firearms, as I am trained with most of them. I also know large sums on the branches and their parts in the armed forces as a whole. I love werewolves: haven rising and I’d drop dead to contribute.
Thanks for the praise, @Coagulatin_Milk !
I’d absolutely be interested in getting your opinion on some scenes in the sequel, though it will have less outright military clashes than Haven Rising. Spoiler: (the action is mostly between a PMC and the wolves.)
I know that to a trained professional some of the writing toward the end of Haven Rising might not have passed full muster, but I did my best to research it so I didn’t come off as completely wrong.
I’ll PM you, probably this weekend, with some questions!
Glad to help, ignore my dumb email address though. Keep it spoiler free though, haven kept me on my edge of my seat until the end. Spolier: (I was devestated when I saved Razor and sacrificed myself with my first ending. But it was so amazingly done)
Love the game, just recently 100% the game as well.
I got this game when it came out but i never knew how to romance bly, i always end up with dena. Anyone know how to get bly?
If I remember correctly, you need to go with Bly when she talks to you, so ignore Ahote’s summon(?) Then pick train with her when she asks your training preference. Always go see her for sparring/training and choose the flirt answers in every conversations with her then I think that’s it. Not sure if I’m entirely correct but hope this helps at least
This. I could go into individual choices, but the above should be more than sufficient. Just hang out with her all the time and flirt with her whenever possible.
I really enjoyed playing this game so much, and I can’t wait for the sequel. Keep up the excellent work.
Hey could someone explain to me why exactly blood was being drawn from the pack? And why The Mc was taken/being tracked by williams?
The pack’s blood was being drawn and they were being experimented on in order to harness their regenerative powers to create human supersoldiers. This is mentioned in a few places, although they are all missable depending on your path throughout the game.
In the words of Dr. Leaman in chapter 10: “We’re hoping that injections derived from werewolf blood could greatly increase a human’s capacity to heal. We’ve already had success in the opposite direction, inhibiting the werewolf healing and repressing their ability to change through an injection of modified PRP…”
The MC is being taken/tracked by Williams for a few reasons. I’ll copy/paste from my development notes to give a full and mostly complete answer to Williams’s motivations. MAJOR SPOILERS, including background not given in the game!
Williams/Elan was part of a group of wolves who had infiltrated the US military. He rose in the ranks during the Vietnam war. During his time overseas he learned to see the enemy as animals, as ‘others’. At one point he realized that he was an ‘other’ too, and he began to obsess over finding a way to turn werewolves into humans. He recruited two other wolves in the sciences (see the primer) to work with him, revealed the existence of the wolves to the government by bringing in an aggressive wolf from a warring tribe and the govt did experiments on him. He got funding to run a science and expedition team, ostensibly to learn how to create or harness the werewolves for military purposes. Williams pretended to do just that, but in truth he spent most of his time researching a ‘cure’.
During this time, Williams began to experiment on himself. He would insist on injecting experimental treatments in an effort to suppress his wolf side for long periods of time. The injections gave him agility/strength bonus in human form, at the expense of some of his sanity. His werewolf persona, Elan (his birth name) split off as an alternate persona. As a werewolf, Elan fell in love with and married Leotie and fathered the player. Elan insisted on curing Leotie as well, experimenting on her with absolute surety that he would succeed. (he meant no ill will toward her)
His first major pack-wide test of the anti-werewolf drug was with two packs outside of Jackson. The drug sent the packs wild, resulting in the Jackson slaughter. Williams kept Leotie safe during the purge, shifting her into the Yellowstone pack deep in the caves, and followed her to founded Haven. His superiors had the attitude, 'you made this mess, you clean it up. Like a demotion, but it was perfect for Williams. After the Purge, Williams became more demented, not able to handle the fact that he caused the deaths of thousands of his own species. He took more drugs to suppress Elan which deadened his emotions as a human, and made Elan crazier and crazier. Convinced that he had the cure right this time, he experimented on his own wife, killing her in the process and leaving (player) motherless. The death of Leotie broke Williams, and his werewolf persona retreated almost entirely in a full break. Williams only knew that ‘werewolves killed my wife’ and he devoted himself to curing them ‘like a plague’ and if he couldn’t do that, he’d exterminate them.
Williams had a flashback when he saw (player) on a camera feed when they were a teenager and Elan came back, visiting the (player) from time to time, asking creepy questions and trying to get them ready for some kind of ‘change’ that Elan knew was coming. When Williams discovered that he was visiting the player as Elan through video footage, he planted the locket in Elan’s belongings, along with a tracking beacon and a note about ‘opening the door’. Elan then gave the locket to the player.
Near end, Williams orders the player (and players friend/lover) kidnapped to the facility. Williams planned to cure the player of lycanthropy now that he had proof that it worked after ‘curing’ Ahote. The player either evades capture or is freed by their companion, and Williams places soldiers in certain places to herd the player toward him where he’ll take care of the companion himself and cure the player by force. Haken attacked at the same time, throwing the plan into disarray.
Is it really there is the second of ,this COG?,if is really is there are the demo?,thank you if you answer me😅
Yes, no not yet. Don’t ask further, it pressures the writer.
Oh thanks , and I’m sorry for author to give, him/her? Pressure😫, I just excited because I just end the game😅
It’s okay @Ravi_Jivan , I don’t mind! I’m more flattered that you liked the game enough to ask!
I’m about halfway through writing Werewolves 2, and it’s a little longer than Haven Rising, so it will be quite some time until release. It’s basically like writing three novels all at once (around 300k words.) I’ll be posting more updates as I get closer to the end!
So I decided to pick this up again the other day, and I’m having trouble saving Bly from the soldiers.
@GreekWinter By the way what are the chances of poly relationships, I ask since while romancing Dena I also spent some time with Bly leading to the shed before the last fight.
