Did you load a save from Werewolves 1 or no save at all? I was told by someone else that Werewolves 1 saves were available for importing in Werewolves 3 and that should absolutely not be the case. I have no way of knowing how that’s being dealt with on the back end.
When you played book 2, was there an option to save at the end? They only added that ability about (8?) months ago in a patch.
If you were able to save properly, are you sure you used the same email you’re checking saves with now?
If you’re sure you made a save in the last half year or so and it’s not showing up, please let me know. There have been some reports about saves from Werewolves 2 acting strange and I’m trying to collect all the info I can about it.
If you want in the meantime, you can choose ‘I’m a new reader’ and choose through the interactive recap chapter that you were in a relationship with Tiva. If saves are acting funny, that’s what I’d recommend until it’s working properly. Thanks for your patience!

So there were options to load saves from book 1 for sure, i just saw those.
Its been a while so idk if its been more or less than 6 months since I played 2 but im preeetty sure that i remember a save option…weird thing though, i played 2 on the version that is its own app and im playing 3 on the CoG app so idk id thats a thing too.
And i absolutely would love to initiate the romance through the recap! Would you be able to tell me what i need to do for that? Cause i can choose to initially hang out with her in the recap and then i was able to choose to save her in the raid but i didnt see a “i choose this person as a romance.” Option like there was for dena in the book 1 recap portion.
Sure 
In the recap portion after you escape from the Nail, you will have options of who to hang out with. Choose: “Tiva was having a hard time adapting to the new camp and dealing with the reality of Lapu’s betrayal. I went to visit her.” One thing that’s important here is that Tiva is canonically straight. You need to be male to romance her. If your MC is male, you can then choose: “I encouraged her affections.” That will put you on the Tiva relationship track without importing a save.

Saves from Book 1 appear in Book 3 but they do not work since the flags from Book 2 don’t exist. Hopefully I am not repeating old info, you’d have to do Book 2 with the save you want to have it over Book 3 with the choices you want.

@GreekWinter dude, the part, I think Chapter 4-5? in the campsite outside in the woods, the MC having the choice to challenge Sonoma leadership, the absolute savagery he did to her character, and when you do confront her the replies are all so fricking good, good job I was in awee with how good it felt to badmouth her in such a way lmao,still am, I am like chapter 11? and I am still DAMN boy.
Other one, Katori, where is the werewolf flexing session he teased?! is there a trigger with the dialogue?

They show up for import, but when you select one it goes something like “This is a game 1 save, you can’t import it, you need a save from game 2, select again”.
You need to play Book 2 and save that playthrough to pass the save to Book 3.
I was told that if your Werewolves 2: Pack Mentality saves are not showing up in the list, choose the option to: ‘Retrieve saved games online from choiceofgames’
This should populate your list of saves with the Werewolves 2 saves if they were missing.
I’m having trouble figuring out which dialogue you mean. Happy to look into it, but I need a bit more information.

If you help Katori heal his leg if you ask about what he plans in mind (when to wolf out, thats me saying it though) he implies, at least to me, he could do it intimately, not to say something else. might need to reread that just to make sure but thats the takeaway from it lol
besides that, what is the trigger for sleeping with onyx, this has me puzzled.
I have forgotten the entire story of the Werewolf trilogy. Once I have enough funds to buy the third, I’ll reinstall both the first and the second to replay the story first.
Wait, I romanced tiva as woman in book 2. Did that was changed?

It was a bug in Werewolves 2 that I didn’t notice for a really long time that allowed it under certain situations. I’ve accounted for the possibility in Werewolves 3, though, just in case any saves came through. You’ll be able to continue your romance just fine, but the spicy scenes with her will be shorter and less specific in an F/F relationship.
If i have time, I might go back and add more content for her to make her properly playersexual. It just wasn’t originally intended to be that way so it will require some work to add.

That cool that there workaround, Tiva was my favorite. Now I need to find version of book where bug aren’t fixed but saves already implemented, ahaha

Good to know! I think I romanced Bly? Dena is cute though. Edit to add only wlw in my runs. If chose Tiva was now warned.
Started all over as don’t recall all of it but memory is jogged as I went back. At least Book 1. Opened book 2, it was in the middle somewhere. I am not certain I finished it. Book 2 is harder to recall. Book 1 memory got filled in. Saves?! Ugh, wtf was I thinking?! How do I know whats what?! I wasn’t wise at the time either.
Yeah, I’ve personally found (while playing other CoG and Hosted Games titles) that it pays off to be as descriptive as possible in your save game titles. Especially since apparently Werewolves 3 displays saves from Werewolves 1 as well as 2, even though they aren’t compatible. I don’t understand why, but it is how it is.
So I end up doing something like this to name them:
W1, williamsEnding, Dena RO, Academic
W1, activistEnding, Jolon RO, Stealth Intimidation
W2, makerEnding, Bly RO, Combat Vitality
etc…
It tells all the important bits: which game, which ending you just got, who is RO, and what your main stats are!
You can fit a surprising amount of text in the save names.

How do you get maker ending in Werewolves 2?
You have to go after Sonoma then pass the check to stop River’s man from taking Maker after the deed is done. Note you don’t need to get her ending to go down the Maker side route in 3 (at least it doesn’t look like a hard requirement from my quick look at the code)
