I hadn’t ever played Jeffrey Dean’s “Claw, Shadow, and Sage” series until earlier this year, but I’ve been making up for lost time, and I think longstanding fans will be more than happy with this newest installment. Evolution’s End finds the tensions ratcheting up all around: you and your fellow wolves are under threat from the military and the Human Sovereignty Movement, forcing the various factions among you to try to work together for the common good, even if you can’t all agree what exactly that is. You’ll continue to develop your skills and your relationships with the wolves around you as you navigate some genuinely tough choices about leadership, trust, and what you’re willing to compromise to survive. There are secrets to learn, about werewolfkind and about your own family history. And if you’re so inclined, there are some great erotic and/or romantic moments. (Showers are an excellent place to get steamy!)

I still wonder if helping Justin survive in the first game will have repercussions in this part.

@Frankex_2272 It felt like the right thing to do at the time when playing a fair-minded MC. The alternative was creating unnecessary enemies of people who might be useful in the future.

My name is READY! :star_struck:

Excuse me maybe it is slipping me but what are other 2 games of this series?

Here you go

Question for the author, will the password system be put in book 2?

I’m so excited to get this out there for everyone to read! I’ve put two years of my life into this story and I think it really shows!

There are definitely different conversation points in a chapter here depending on what happened with Justin in book 1. The biggest repercussions are planned for the next book, but your choice is discussed in this volume.

It’s not planned at the moment, but there is essentially a character builder in the long form recap in Werewolves 2 if you choose that you’re a New Player. The secret password ‘quick’ character builder is currently only in Werewolves 3.

Played the demo, it does feel like a repeat of different parts of book 2 (And by extension 1) a bit too much hopefully that feeling will go away with the full book.

Another day another warcrime attempt by Sonoma, I really hope there will be an option to permanently turn her human then imprison her for the rest of her life even on the non Williams paths, death would be too good for her. Also she is a idiot if she doesn’t expect my mc to stop her for the 7th time

Maker is her fun crazy arrogant mad scientist as always self. Still wonder if this line from 2 will lead anywhere since it’s the only in she has with my mc who is otherwise very unhappy with her thanks to what she did to Lapu

“This is amazing! Anyone could be whoever they wanted to be!”
“Ah,” Maker says with a grin. "You finally understand! We’re on the verge of having the building blocks of life laid open before us. And once we can govern the body, we can govern the mind. And from there, nothing will be out of reach.

Did enjoy the negotiation training  Poor Tayla :pensive:. Also the drone race was a cute moment

Let’s just say there are some endings that turn out very badly for her and I’ll leave it there…

There is a VERY robust Maker-ally path in Werewolves 3 that will show you the extent of her scientific advances. Make sure to try it at least once by visiting her at every opportunity after chapter 5 and not disappointing her.

Glad you liked those scenes! The drone scene was a lot of fun to write

Again I do hope those bad ends are not impossible for a non killer (I wouldn’t call him pacifistic ) non Williams path mc

Interesting though there is little chance that my main mc won’t stab Ms. Forced Experimentation in the back  however much he might agree with just one ideal of hers and my second has thrown her lot in with Sonoma to the point where Bly broke up with her. Might be something for a third mc for me

At the end of my first beta playthrough, Sonoma was very very unhappy, and I got the Pacifist achievement.

Have fun.

Can’t wait to support one of my favorite werewolves … er… authors, Jeffrey Dean!

Maybe he is a vampire instead?

The conspiracy is on either way …

Just saying.

Thanks for the good vibes!

I have the story planned out to include a 4th volume to cover the last of the MC’s story arc. As long as Werewolves 3 is well-received, I plan to keep the series going for at least one more book!

It’s impossible to pin it down exactly, but based on over three years of experience buying games the day they’re released, I’m going to say it’ll almost certainly be late morning where you live. Possibly by 11:00, almost certainly before noon. Although please keep in mind, this is an informed estimate at best - if it turns out to be much earlier or much later, I’ll be a little surprised but not shocked.

Are saves enabled for 2 yet? I’ve just finished my replaythrough and don’t want to end it yet and have to replay again.
