after playing the demo is Onyx even a romance route? it gives me the hell yes in the beginning but the game info says about the main guys we got in the first two books

The characters you can romance are Bly, Dena, Jolon, Kotori, and Tiva.
There are a few other characters with whom it’s possible to have a fling, but not an actual relationship. The ones I’m aware of are Inferi/Augury, Maker, Sonoma, and Winter.
I’ve never heard anything about a fling being possible with Onyx, and it definitely isn’t possible to romance him.

I’ve noticed you can lose a lot of respect from Sonoma’s rebels inbetween books. I had them at over 60% approval in Book 2’s ending but they start this book at 40%

Their relationship stat gets restarted since the Haven
wolves split apart from them though I would have like there to be a boost in starting relationship if you had a high stat with them in book 2. (Never mind there 
, thanks author )To be honest outside of the leadership vote and the last chapter in book 1, group relationship haven’t been used much in checks. Maybe this changes with book 3 (we will have to see tomorrow) but mostly likely it’s going to be until book 4

There are opportunities to sleep with him if you’re on a pro-Sonoma playthrough. He’s in love with Sonoma, but they’re having difficulties and you have the opportunity to give him a session of spicy affection. Depending on your choices later in the game, his situation with her might change, leaving him open as an RO in book 4.
What can I say? Readers ask and I provide! 
List of non-RO sex scenes (blurred for spoilers):
An Inferi/Augury threesome, an Inferi/MC/ (either Jolon or Tiva) threesome, Sonoma, Onyx, and some very steamy scenes with Winter if you’re male an not in a relationship (You’ll have to trust me, there’s a reason for the restrictions on that one.) All of the above sex scenes are available to all genders of MC except for Winter. On top of that, you can assign Inferi’s physical sex, as I’ve purposefully left that open to interpretation since book 2.
Maker is the one request for an RO that I really had trouble adding. I know a lot of people want it, but I tried over and over again to write it and it wasn’t working. She’s not that kinda gal. However, there is a lengthy optional Maker storyline which is, in some ways, quite intimate. In her own way, she shows you trust that she hasn’t shown anyone else. I’m really curious to see what people think about it.

There’s actually quite a few little conditional text bits in the free roaming sections in the second half of the game that trigger if you’ve had sex with Onyx. Like, if you see the two of them working together on a security panel or example, the MC will be thinking something along the lines of ‘Oh gods, they’re fighting again, does she know?’
Same actually happens to a lesser extent if you’ve had sex with Sonoma. If you slept with her in book 2, Onyx will talk with the MC in chapter 4 of werewolves 3 and ask them straight up if they had sex with Sonoma. Later in the game, you can sleep with her again when the two of them are having troubles and you get some alt text later on for that, too. It’s nothing hugely robust or anything, I just wanted the text to acknowledge that it happened because it would be kinda weird if it didn’t.

I’ll copy a response I made in detail about this over on the CoG Reddit:
It was planned as a trilogy, yes.
I got about halfway through book 3 when I realized there was simply no way in hell I could wrap up all the story threads in the game satisfactorily in one book. No matter how I approached it, it felt artificially rushed.
I’m not the kind of guy to drag out stories into unnecessary volumes. I’m actually not a big fan of that style at all, which is why I took so long to come to the conclusion that a fourth book was necessary.
Book 3: Evolution’s End, focuses on the Maker plotline, and also brings the HSM (Human Sovereignty Movement) / Williams story to a close.
Book 4 will focus on the pack’s bid for freedom/domination/legal rights with the US government, and the werewolves like General Rivera and Byrne secretly embedded in the system. It will also have a lengthy epilogue section which should give the MC the conclusion that they deserve.
None of those things could have been added elegantly to book 3 without either rushing it drastically and giving the reader whiplash. I want readers to feel like their time is being valued and the last thing I want to do is build up expectations and then rush over the finish line as if I just wanted to get it over with. We have so much more to experience, and I’m not tired of it at all–I’m having fun with it and I hope that translates to a superior reader experience.
There are no premature endings in Werewolves 3. Maker’s fate will be up to you, as is Williams’s. However you choose to finish the game, it will continue to book 4.

Huh I thought you said that the Williams path will come to a end in book 3 (like the full pacifist route in book 1 did) in the interview. Happy to hear it won’t if that’s the case (Hoping that it’ll not just going to merge into the normal path)
I’m getting confused here, I just say that I hope that going full in with Williams doesn’t just merge with the other parhs with the only consequence being lower rep

I meant that the story of the HSM and Williams’s role in it will have a conclusion. Williams’s role as a main antagonist will be finished. Book 4 will focus on the US military and Rivera if she’s still alive in your playthrough.
Me neither! I started writing them back in 2016! Can you believe it? It feels crazy to me that it’s been so long.
