How do i have the fling with Sonoma in bk 3? I managed to get a fade to black in book 2 (disappointing) but i wouldn’t mind another go at mamma wolf
To have a fling with her in book 3 you need to have had a fling with her in book 2. Be a werewolf supremacist and align with Sonoma and her experiments/goals. In book 2, agree to torture the HSM prisoners and then later at the HSM base allow Sonoma to use the gas. After that, volunteer to help Maker in her lab with studying the feral plague and when you report back to Sonoma, flirt with her and be direct and assertive because she likes someone who knows what they want.
If you had a fling with her in book 2, did NOT betray her at the end of book 2 and have continued the Sonoma Rebels path in book 3 then at somepoint during the Nail chapters she will invite you into her office to talk about Maker and what to do with her. Thats when the book 3 fling happens.
If you DID NOT have a fling with Sonoma in book 2 but are still on the Sonoma Rebels path, then at this point in book 3 you can have a fling with Onyx instead.
Edit: Regarding the fade to black, are you sure you didnt have the explicit content filter on in the options?
Im definitely sure the filter was off as bly sex scenes were very explicit (they are awesome by the way) but somona was
Push onto bed, wrestle for control, a little touching but that was it
Also thanks for info
No flings or full romance with her as of book 3.
Since book 3 is so recent, im assuming book 4 still in the general outlining phase and also im not the author so im not sure what book 4 will bring.
The author did say that if you are a Maker ally in book 3 that things will get “weird” with her in book 4 but its impossible to know exactly what that means. We simply won’t know until book 4 is out or the author makes a confirmation.
The Maker route in book 3 is still cool though, i recommend you try it if you haven’t already.
I’m excited to see the consequences of that too. I don’t think the author would add that if they didn’t plan on exploring the consequences. I cant wait!
I wanna anonymously donate blood! I am glad to know a choice in B1 did carry over, sorta!
Very secretly, otherwise, I would become a blood bag.
Oh, there will be consequences. And it will be even more important if you kept Maker alive.
I have the foggiest idea where I want to go. I keep stopping at Rivera, Sonoma or Maker choice in book 2. Apparently never able to pass it still.
Pros and Cons. Maker isn’t an issue to me.
Rivera only betrays cause Sonoma raided. Sonoma raided because of dipshits. Sonoma may of attacked said dipshits regardless though. Rivera will betray to save herself no matter what. The dipshits are terrorists that will ignore any peaceful laws implemented. Sonomas pack of terrorists will also strike humans.
Too bad I couldn’t just do both of them in together.
I think the difficulty is an intentional part of the decision to make you question yourself regardless of who you chose to side with. I like that there’s no clear cut “this is the best option” choice.
Yeah, I figured as much. Also, I’d like to take a moment to thank you for writing these stories. This series is what got me interested in IF’s in the first place. I must have replayed this series a bajillion times before book 3 came out, and now that book 3 is out I’m imagining all the new replays now. Another thing, I unfortunately haven’t played it yet but Parliament of Knives is on my list.
Yep. Its so difficult that I hadn’t made the choice honestly. Both of them are bad. Maker is, sorta?! But not like Sonoma the warmonger and Rivera the estranged.
I want to undo both! Not just one of them.
I always love hearing about my stories bringing new folks into the IF fold! Glad my work found you and resonated!
Well, if you like:
Then Parliament of Knives will be exactly what you’re looking for. It takes that design strategy and dials it up to 11.
By the end of book 3, if you play your cards just right they’ll all be dead, heh.
Parliament of Knives. I can’t recall it well and what I ended up doing.
Vampires are usually my least favored and disliked. Way more stupid drama than I can stand. Werewolves are sociable and killers like vamps but vamps, can’t stand. Their usually worse than power hungry idiotic humans. Wolves are more stomachable.
With that whole frozen corpses subplot I thought that Sonoma or someone else was going to suggest the idea of eating humans, as there are a lot of food related scenes in this book and there’s particular emphasis on the whole “turning into a werewolf burns calories” thing.
Was that something that crossed your mind or was it just coincidental? @GreekWinter
My husband and I went into the city tonight to see a band we like, and I noticed from a poster that Havok is doing a show at the same venue in a couple weeks. I wonder if any werewolves are planning to attend?
GreekWinter, does the protagonist have a canon name? I mean, I’m sure you had to come up with some original name or nickname for the MC when you first started writing this book series. Or did you use your own?
I still keep picking Bouchard’s side instead of Vivian’s
side simply because I just really like the former over the latter
The romantic content with Onyx was genuinely great; but does that preclude maybe some permutations that might have been missed by the player-character in H2 where one can eventually poly-up with Sonoma and Onyx?|
Or it is just what it is in the moment? A fling? Or does what Onyx’s commentary (and our prompting) imply that it can happen again vis a vis it can become more than a simple intimate encounter? It seems to be hinting at more when Onyx is halfway through choking out a verbal quality of concern, only to well…choke on his himbo nature and stutter? Like, flavor text because we did the deed with an optional fling?
And finally, does this suggest we can also eventually have romantic, intimate, or ‘fling’ content with Haken? Becuase the descriptions seemed almost tangentially lurid about his physique and the degree to which it is expressed in how they expend their above-average stature in combat or regular text and/or dialogue. Also: Haken. I want that to be a thing really bad, but if not, I guess I’ll just pine.
10/10 content.
I don’t know if other people have suggested but can we sleep with Anna (or the other guy can’t remember his name )in book 4?
I’ll be honest–that never occurred to me, lol
Havok puts on one hell of a show! I saw them in a small nightclub in Quebec City back in… 2015 or so and they were incredible.
In the book, I use the variable $!{name} for the MC’s name every time they’re mentioned. I’ve done this for SO long that the MC is ‘Name’ both in my head and when I talk to people in real life. Weird but true.
A reader of fine taste, I see
At the moment it’s a fling, but there might be more in the next game depending on what happened to Sonoma.
I’m a fan of big men, lol. Sue me!
I’m not sure if a fling with him is in the cards. It would be a little weird cause he was there when the MC was raised from a pup and he calls them ‘pup’ a lot earlier on. I’m not entirely comfortable with that dynamic.
The other guy’s name is Brad. At the moment you can’t sleep with them, no.
I’m sure no one can blame you lol.
What on earth do you mean “at the moment”?? Is this something that can change in the future?
I had just thought about coming on here and asking about flings with one of the human characters. I have an MC who would love that and another who would absolutely vomit at the thought of that.
