Werewolves 2: Pack Mentality – Overpower the Human Sovereignty Movement!

I actually have just one question. Reading this topic, it seems like there are some mentions of Williams and the game respecting your choices, such as not wanting to take part in fighting. I killed our dear dad in the first part (whoops). May I aks whether he is going to be"magically" revived or should I play through the first game again just to keep him alive later on?

Anyone can give me tips on the username to use on the PC when breaking out of the nail? I’ve used “Rivera”, but I am thinking who else you can use and what hidden secrets does the PC hold?

Help would be appreciated.

I had a question for those who are in a relationship with Dena but pursue Tiva with the intention of not breaking up with Dena, at one point you and Tiva discuss talking with Dena about the relationship, am I correct that this conversation never happens? Will that happen in book 3, I thought it was weird that Dena seemed pretty chill about their significant other being physically affectionate with someone else with no discussion prior.

I was surprised how much I liked Tiva’s romance, especially since I wasn’t a big fan of her in the first book. My character I play as very put-together, diplomatic and calm. He is the packleader and a pacifist, completely the opposite of Tiva who is kind of a mess. It just seemed to make sense that he was drawn to helping Tiva, especially as his own influence as packleader was lessened, and Dena seemed more emotionally distant.

I really loved this book btw. It was very exciting and action packed, I hope the third book allows our characters to take a breath for a moment, I feel like at this point they deserve a little rest.

I really loved the book. The new characters,Maker and Sonoma are interesting. I tried to follow the Maker but ended up distracted by her. Will Maker be an RO in book 3. That would be very interesting…Got the pacifist 2 achievement even though I killed a bunch of people…Now time to tap into the feral mode…:smiling_imp:

Finally tried the path where I went to Rivera but ended up letting her beat Maker. The revelation!!! The amount of branching and layers in this story is insane. I love it.

Wish we have an option to get away from these power mongers. My MC(s) just want to survive.

I managed to achieve something like this at the end of my playthrough, although probably not for long.

My MC ended up exposing Maker with the gas after pretending to give up Sonoma to Rivera. my MC separated from Sonoma in the end because Sonoma’s group wants to keep fighting but my MC and the elders want to stop fighting and lobby with the humans instead. The elders retrieved 2 military? buses to carry everyone that doesnt want to join Sonoma and we hide in a shelter. Then the book ends with the Lapu reveal.

I am not sure how many different endings are for this book though.

So far I got 4 endings, but i have the same question, how many they are?
Also would love some help, i load my game from book 1 but Justin is not in book 2, even though i let him stay at the end and made sure he doesn’t get killed.
Am i doing something wrong?

Oh that’s similar to the ending of my first playthrough. But instead of exposing the Maker, I went with handing Sonoma to Rivera, Maker got taken by Rivera and the rest is just like yours.

I have no words on how great this story is. I thought the sequel was only gonna be held in the prison, but it didnt and I’m glad. The sequel is so dark that by the end I questioned myself if I made the right choice or not. Every intense scene got to me, which only a handful of CSG games can do to me.

Overall, I would like to congratulate the author for delivering such a masterpiece. I hope the third one isnt do grim as the second. (I’d still love it if it is much darker lmao.)

PS
I didnt pursue any intimate relationships in the game and it makes it much more depressing when dealing with the gray areas and intense scenes from the story. Can someone give me tips on how to romance Bly or Tiva? Do I have to be in the Path of the Claw in order to do so?

Rule of thumb is that if you want to romance someone, you should take up every opportunity you have to spend time with them and then select the flirty options.

With Bly, you do need to train with her in the Path of the Claw in Book 1.
With Tiva, on the other hand, you should check up on her in this book and encourage her to leave her morass.

I was unable to get Bly as a RO if i didn’t have her as one from book 1
but Tiva i did get, Go see Tiva and interact with her at every chance
you get, when you sit with her in the cafeteria and the dumb ass wolf
comes over to hit on her choose “Tiva would love to take care of him
herself”
Also when raiding the HSM choose to find Tiva.

Actually in one of my playthroughs I studied under Jolon’s path of Shadows and I can still romance Bly. Pick her on every social (non lesson) scenes, flirted with her and that sealed it.

So for the Dena/Tiva poly is supposed to be introduced here and developed in the next book, or did I miss a point where I talk about it with Dena?

I really enjoyed this I feel like it will be one of my top series looking back on that truly had impacts and choices that mattered throughout the series so I want to commend you for being so thorough! I’m doing another run right now and am getting completely different scenes i didn’t know existed!

One question I see that there is a scene where you can sleep with Sonoma? I haven’t gotten that yet? How is this triggered? (I’m a sucker for angst i’m sorry/not sorry)

ok, so i got all but 3 achievements
Mine Sweeper
curious Correspondence
And one hidden one i don’t see.
Can anyone help on getting those?

Loooove the second book!! Idk what the goal will be in the 3rd book, but Im gonna at least try to aim for a better more free version of haven. Hopefully try to make all of haven, including the former human side into a city-state for werewolves and human allies. I personally didn’t mind living in a big ol walled off city(other than being controlled by human lunatics).

For me, I went to talk to her about Maker, so you basically need to be in her quarters, she’s gonna show up and the flirt options from there. about the angst, I probably missed something because it was never brought up by Bly

You need to physically restrain Bly during the scene at the HMS base. Eventually, you run into her and she tells you that you’re through and that if you want sex, you should go to Sonoma at which point she realizes that you already have and is really hurt and angry. Rightly so, too.

@MisterJB oh boy, I hate it already but I’m a sucker for angst so here we go :pensive: thanks!

Maker’s motivations will be the centrepiece of book 3, but I’ll tell you that you’re at least somewhat on-mark. :zipper_mouth_face:

That will also be one of the challenges in book 3 for peaceful players, yes!

@Almanach Williams doesn’t actually die, no, though I’d say it was more based off the cocktail of drugs working with his natural werewolf healing factor than magic. #plotdevice In one of the endings of book 1, you’re actually explained that General Rivera’s forces took Williams’s body from the battlefield and imprisoned him, barely alive.

@jcury There should be entries for most of the notable wolves. Ahote, Dena, Bly, Jolon, Sonoma, Haken, (yourname) etc…

@loyallyroyal You are correct that the conversation doesn’t happen in book 2. It will be gone into in book 3. Honestly, it should have been in here, but things were getting so complicated that I had to shunt a few things into the next one. Just being real with you, heh.

That would be… very challenging to pull off. But I might try it. No promises.

Glad you liked it! I enjoyed writing that scene with Maker and Rivera. It’s one of the very few times in the book that Maker is totally stomped on, and even then her arrogance gets the best of her.

@jcury There are 4 main ending branches with variations within them, along with a secret ending for those who joined Williams in book 1 to wipe out werewolves.

Justin is not in book 2. If he wasn’t killed in book 1 he will most likely return as a side character in book 3, but I can’t give a 100% promise on that.

@AlexHaydenX Thank you so much! The third one will be a bit less grim, yes, at least once the opening sections are finished.

@projectalice Really glad to hear my hard work paid off! I tried very hard to have the choices and relationships from book 1 carry over, and even have many very branching things in the new book besides that. It looks liek your question about Sonoma has already been answered, but if you have any more questions I check in here a few times a day.

The worst of the angst happens if you are Bly’s lover, don’t stop Sonoma from gassing the HSM, and then sleep with Sonoma.

I’ll try to get back to you with those later today when I can look over my code
