To join Bone Gnawers the Mc has to be either someone who is a pragmatist (low hope stat) or did not care about litany (low litany stat) at all. if either one of the criteria stat is fufilled the Rat would allow them to join Bone Gnawers.
I noticed some disperancies on the doc about gifts
Katherine gift required a low litany stat
Falcon gift can be acquired by hart wardens or philodox
Porcupine gift can be acquired by black furies or philodox
As for father bear and mother bear just the name is wrong, father bear don’t exist anymore so his gift instead offered to a wolfborn garou it can be acquired through Clay.
Fox gift need high joke stat
Stats explanation
Hope : are you an optimist or a pragmatic
Find the answer is high hope while Try not to die is low hope
Humanity : do you cherish them or do you hate them
Humans must understand is high humanity while Humans must pay is low humanity
Litany : do you follow the litany or do you disregard it
Litany must be rebuild is high litany while Litany has failed is low litany
Joke : are you a jokester or you’re a serious person
Find courage through laughter is high joke while Find purpose through dignity is low joke
Spirituality : do you prefer destroy your enemies with rage and claws or would you prefer turn to spirits
Our answer is spirits is high spirituality while Our weapon is rage is low spirituality
Thank you! Ive updated the Fox, Kathrine and Father Bear Gift
What is the Chiminage for Katherine and the Wardstone if you know? (ill replay the demo for them later)
The 4 personality stats doesn’t really explicitly mention 'We can still win" but its part of the little test for Melodie. based on what you said, is it that its just “Find the Answers”? Is it a mix of Litany failed and Try not to die? Is it a hidden value from dialogue choices? “Hope” isn’t its own stat and its listed separately from find the answers so idk
Chiminage for Katherine gift is seven wisdom, as for wardstone is unknown, as for melodie little test we can still is win is find the answer which fall under the hope stat, Shadow Lord patron is Vagahn not Vaughn, Hold the dawn is not an exclusive tribe gift as it can also be obtained by Galliards garou, beetle gift is not high spirituality but high hope stat.
So far I’ve only been able to romance nomi, anyone else been able to romance melodie so far in the current demo or do i need to wait for the full release?
I know you can ask her out and I vaguely remember on one of my initial playthroughs that she accepts but I could be mistaken. I assume it deals with your stats/personality. Theres not really much clear indication of where you stand with them besides the journal saying if you have 2 dots or 3 and the few scattered checks where you ask them to deal with a situation
Thank you for the additional info, updating the guide immediately.
As for the high hope, my question is how do we cultivate that? It’s pretty straightforward with other stats since they are explicitly named but your explanation of
Find the answer is high hope while Try not to die is low hope
makes it sound like “High Hope” and Find the Answers are one and the same.
also, 7 Wisdom for Katherine is insane holy cow, isn’t that the highest one so far? I wonder if we’ll get the Gift/Rite that lets us change without ripping our clothes lol.
Ngl, after a few missions in. You can level up your stats to pretty damn well-rounded.
It atleast gets to the point where you SHOULD be able to pick a stat check in scenarios and pass. Unless youre intentionally trying to blow all points into only a few areas.
Made a scholar wolf, so not best combat/atheltic stuff at start. Few missions in, fixed the issue and it was smooth sailing.
Where do you get and use money, and get promotions, according to the code I saw, and how do promotions play a role in a world where the MC is a Werewolf?
You get money in mundane ways: from working at a job or from the wallets or bank accounts of dead folks. You spend it in mundane ways, too: buying clothing when old sets are destroyed, buying food sometimes if you don’t feel like dumpster diving, buying furniture or tools when needed. As in real life, money becomes less of a concern once you establish yourself, but just starting out, it’s a bit of a struggle.
I wonder if the old pack will ever actually make it to the city. They would 100% cause some problems, but it would be fun to see how the werewolves doing their job badly can be even worse than leaving it well alone.
Hm, any guesses about the Tradition to which Giselle belongs? She is certainly no Technocrat. Thankfully, she does not seem to be one of the Nephandi. Then again, she could just be a renegade without allegiance. She seems too sane to be a Marauder. Perhaps the Verbena.
Speaking of my beloved Technocratic Union, it seems that there will be at least a reference to them, one of the Conventions, rather. There might a mention later on about a collaboration between the Glass Walkers and VE, which one would assume to mean the Void Engineers, to destroy a malicious spirit from the Umbra.
Ah, the Void Engineers. Hm, one is rather more of the Progenitors or Iteration X, but the Void Engineers are also fascinating. All of the Conventions are necessary, of course, each with their own role and function in the Technocractic Union.
