Hm, if Arundel is of Antonius’ line, it would be rather droll, considering what happens. Just as the Dream of Constantinople was ultimately torn apart by the jealousies and love quarrels of the Triumvirate of Michael, Antonius, and the Dracon, so too has Ottawa been torn apart by the lovers’ quarrel amongst Arundel, Corliss, and Ward.
Of course, Arundel’s pathetic vision is not even a flicker compared to the tragic beauty and majesty of the Dream, nor could Arundel hope to compare to the Triumvirate, in all their glory and flaws, not even if he is of Antonius’ line.
Oh but it will intresting if he also suffer the same fate that befalls of the triumvate, and also giving me more reason to hate and kill those rabbles, im bias like that
Hm, while the Brujah left something good in Athens, since Carthage, it has been endless degeneration into the Rabble.
Continuously moaning about their glorified cesspool of infernalism, now with the mob of Anarchs. How the Rabble have fallen. No matter. The Camarilla is better off without Troile’s progeny. She set the example for her scions quite well, taking Moloch as a lover.
It’s a shame during fair is foul or in gehenna book we can’t wake troile and her demon lover moloch because it will be intresting to see if the players managed to kill both of them or ilyes rips her apart with temporis, a fitting end for an usurper like her
In Wormwood, one presumes that Troile and Moloch meet the same fate as the vast majority of the scions of Caine, quietly being erased with a whimper in the Withering, the strength of the vitae ebbing away to nothing.
Who knows? In Nightshade, perhaps even Moloch was destroyed alongside the Antediluvians when Saulot made his sacrifice to save the world and atone for the sins of Caine’s line.
@Gadriel let me ask you something is saulot is also the founder of the clan baali or is it ashur ?, If it’s the former then he sacrifice himself for creating that abomination, maybe in the next life saulot will beg for Caine’s mercy for failing to remove his curse or be killed like all the others.
Hm, across the years, the lore has varied. In some books, it was Ashur. In others, it was Saulot, even in one Gehenna scenario, apparently. It does not help that White Wolf could not seem to make up their minds about Saulot’s nature.
There was even one account that the 4th Generation founders of the Baali were already Embraced but then re-Embraced themselves as the first Baali.
Of course, if the rumors of Ashur being Cappadocius are true, and he indeed sired the Baali, the implications for the Cappadocians are unsettling, especially since Cappadocius had a mad plan to diablerize the Almighty Himself.
Hah as if Cappadocius could diablerize one god, she left the world long after she curse caine and only come back to revive and re curse him, after all caine is one god favourite entertainment
If Lucca becomes romanceable, I hope her personal quest involves the Lasombra newcomers somehow.
It would be fun to play a classical Ventrue-Lasombra rivalry.
2-Will other clans be added (I understand that this might be almost impossible given the story but still… just asking.)
3-Were the vampires form asia that Luca mentioned kuei-jin? And how in the lower umbra did they manage to make a FIEND scream?? A fiend as in… a Tzimisce… dreadful stuff. (Shivers😟)
4-How much does our character know of the other clans? Sometimes it seems like the Sabbat clans are shrouded in mistery, and sometimes it seems like we know quite a lot? (And does Lucca’s hatred of the Lasombra extend to the Tzimisce, or is it just the magisters?)
Edit: Just praying for a game to come out in which you can play as a Tzimisce, my obsession, and best clan in vtm (fanboy noises). Although it wouldn’t be possible for this game.
Amazing game by the way.
It truly is involving, and the characters… Beautiful, amazing, and I just hope you get to add Lucca as a romanceable character. I love the multi colored hair version of her (I feel like it fits) Go Toreador go!
I have no recollection of that character …
Also it is possible that this quote was a hypothetical and not factual to the game.
Yeah, I don’t recall any instances aside from what you mentioned, so I think the person you quoted will need to respond. Might want to @ them in your post.
Trevor Haidt, the Tremere openly working with Corliss to get the Banu Haqim kicked out of town. The only time in my playing that he ever has significant interaction with you is when everyone is being questioned about what happened to Vivian Maier (he asks you to pass on a message to Kashif) and at Arundel’s villa, where he rather ineffectively tries to keep you from finding Arundel.
There was some content I’d planned for Trevor while writing that was not complete and may be expanded on in a coming update. The game was running so overly long (text the size of 6 full-length novels) that adding more content before release was just not feasible. I also had plans for Ophelia as well that were not completed but WILL be included in the update when it’s finished. Maybe I can get some Trevor in there too.
Was this Trevor content meant to happen at the exhibition? He asked my character to talk about rare books there but didn’t show up. I hope that’s OK to ask.
Also, there’s one bit of the story that’s been nagging at me - what was Vivian doing wandering downtown when Jordan caught her? My impression was that Ophelia brainwashed her in preparation for the crucifixion and meant for her to stay home, but Vivian dashed out which nearly ruined the plan, and that’s why she doesn’t recognise Jordan and is upset if their meeting is brought up at the council. Did I misunderstand?
