For me personally, I would rather have it so you can boost and pass more often for I read COGs for the story more so than the choices, and if I fail something and it has hard consequences, (especially for romances) I would just get frustrated and restart, maybe never actually finishing the game then. However, it would be fun to have hard missions like that, so maybe just add an easy mode or something that let’s people have both? That’s it’s my opinion.
you can always do the same as Slammed , there is choices that are right or wrong, it add more replay value, but dont base it on stats since sometimes is hard to get certain stats, i think a good example will be your versión of unnatural when you fight the golems, if you use a idiotic atack you get killed, but if you use the right one you can kill them
I want to fist fight more monsters.
hand to hand combat isn’t considered smart fighting (MCs who use Shade Gauntlets happen to be the exception) I do intend to add a few special “weaker” unnaturals so “normal” hand to hand against them would be possible.
Cool. I get it. Hey did any of my ideas make it in as definate?
I intend to look at them agaiin with whole funding idea for weapons, some variations of the idea could work. I’ll let you know
Is a demo of S2 out of the question?
I’m going to try and write an episode then get it tested.
Sorry for sounding rash. I just meant is one coming. Anyways, did you decide if were gonna get to become a werewolf or vampire in S2?
Oh yeah there will be a demo. The MC of season one can’t become another kind of Unnatural however I am still considering having a new game started at season two(I.e not continued from a save) being a completely new “human” protagonist
So would the new protagonist have that ability then? To become a monster? And how will you handle the events of the first game if the new MC is, well, new?
So let me get this straight in season 2 you have a choice of choosing from a previous save or creating a new character? And will S2 be a new app or downloaded on to the unnatural app?
It is something I am considering.
I would prefer my character from season one
It’s more of a way of letting players see what happens if they died. People can still continue their characters.
Alright I understand
Im confused. I just dont se how you would implement that.
If and I mean “IF” I implemented it, it would simply use a set series of events that occur after the protagonist in Season One died.
Then would use a variable to determine whether they were human/monster which would reveal human/monster stats (like how the game is coded to show you either Azure or Shade stats)
To me it seems less “should I put this in” and more “is it worth the effort”.
Most people are likely going to play with their season one characters, while few are going to make someone and intensionally kill them off in order to play someone “inferior”. I use the term loosely given how many people have voiced the love of using their powers.
My second point is it appears it should limit your recruitment offers. A new protagonist wont have the same connections as an old one, so should miss out on recruiting some key members, especially those from Gamma. If they were to continue the monster hunting business, they would likely join up with another already established organisation, not an up and coming one.
Truthfully I would stick with my S1 character rather than change to a new one. And also how would the romances work in S2?
