Holly crap I just got eight wings , I must look like arceus in my game. How many souls do you have to take in order to get the shimmer ability?
To gain Shimmer in Season One you need to go after Alex. and you have to pick the option “What is this strange feeling” (or something like that) and you’ll do it for the first time, you can then use it to quickly get back to base.
I played through the last few times trying to scourge up as many souls as I can, I take revenge and take those two , you missed taking the dead werewolfs souls in the cure mission by the by , but besides the souls of of the team waiting for you at the building gaurding your brother for the ritual. I can’t seem to get it, I got it once before shimmer, but since then I haven’t been able to replicate it. Tried different missions , am I just missing somthing or is it a flaw with update at play store?
Try this and let me know if it works…
take souls when you can. then in episode 6 go after Alex and when you have to deal with the first lot of guys choose you use your azures powers and the following option

that should make you shimmer and then you can use it to get back to base after you’ve sorted out Alex.
Are you currently working on season2?
Season 2 is currently in the planning stage. I am working on a side project at the moment and I want to finish that first before focusing on the second season.
How is the side project going
I think its going quite well. I’m writing part 6 (of 8) as I write this post. It’s a smaller game than Unnatural and I’m hoping to at least have the first draft done by the end of August (September possibly?) then will commence proper work on Season two (and also Rookfall) in October. I’ve got the planned case list for season two and the overall plan for it planned out.

Was you able to get your character to use “Shimmer” or is it still showing up for you?
No I never got the choice for it, though I did play through it a few more time and couldnt activate it. I don’t see any updates at the play store so I know I have the latest one…

@Nocturnal_Stillness I just finished the game and I have to say it was AMAZING.Well done,and now I find out that you’re working on season 2.That’s even more amazing…so when do you think season 2 might be released?
Glad you like the game. Season 2 is still in the planning stage at the moment while I work on a side project. I hope to officially start work on it in October.
In the meantime if you search the forums you can find the season 2 topic which gives a few bits of info like the current case list that I have planned.
@Nocturnal_Stillness also one more thing…Shouldn’t we have a save button or something to save the progress so we can continue it in season 2 ?

CoG tend to add the save option when the second game in a series is about to be released. I believe it is so players will always play the latest version of the first game.
I loved this game!! Unnatural is my favorite text based game and I was wondering if there is going to be a sequel??
