Is that me or war 2022 rly short?

About War of 2022. The fun begins and ends almost immediately. The whole story looks like one introductory chapter, a prelude to real events. As a result, the pleasure of such reading is not obtained.

So many questions and mixed emotions on the ending for The Mage’s Adventures.

The “you were a demon all along” ending is both refreshingly surprising yet very sad. This whole game you build up the MC and his personality and relationships, only to be revealed that you’re actually Zaleth and your personality kinda goes out the window? And the actual “MC” is a mentally unhinged being because they’ve been locked away for 18 something years.

The character that you’ve been building up for the game essentially no longer exists. All that’s left is Zaleth (You) and the host, which neither of is the person that you once were.

Also, if the Zaleth that was in our mind (since you’re actually the real Zaleth) isn’t technically real but a fabrication, then why was our power withheld? Was that supposed to help in the reality we created? Why did a new mental reality needed to be created in the first place?

Once again, bummed out that the character development and relationships that were built cease to have meaning.

The MC you created and helped developed, no longer exists.

Played The Mages Adventure but I definitely prefer the original… Can’t understand why the author didn’t just do a sequel to the Magicians Burden instead of a alternate timeline… it was all over the place and the characters didn’t gel very well.
