Trial of the Demon Hunter - OPEN BETA TESTING

@DSeg
Haha, wow:P well that’s still not bad. And managing my fb page, responding to feedback on here, planning with other authors to advertise eachother’s books (two have agreed so far), making flyers, and creating graphic shirts with my illustrations.

@Samuel_H_Young It’s because of English, plus I get fatigued quite fast. When I write something in my language I can reach 2500-3000. Then the problem is not misspeling when I start turning into a mess, but plot holes and overall quality.

Anyways, if everyone’s plans go well, we should be able to advertise eachother in your third/my first book.

@DSeg
You’re actually very good at english for being Croatian(?)

And awesome :smiley: it’s a no-cost way to boost both author’s sales. I should have my 3rd book out in a little over a year

@Samuel_H_Young I am planning to have my book submitted by late August or early September 2014. That’s a little under a year, but it’s never too early or late for this kind of advertising. Are you planning these adverts to be short demos or blurbs or maybe both?

No need for question marks. I am Croatian. You found that out on facebook when I liked the page, I guess. Started learning english when I was 5 or 6 years old and I will be 24 in April. That’s almost 20 years of speaking english.

@DSeg
I was thinking of just a little blurb, like “Read other great titles like The Kingdom of Blackwood *insert short summary and link*” and yeah we could do it whenever you’re ready.

And cool:) the best I can do is talk like a bland, 5 year old Frenchman

@Samuel_H_Young LOL It is now that I realised you used my working title as the example. Didn’t catch that the first time I read the post.

@DSeg
Yeah:P do you like the idea?

@Samuel_H_Young. Will we be chasing the same demon through the whole series or will there be multiple primary antagonists?

@DSeg
There are like 20 secondary antagonists throughout the series, but the demon is always the primary antagonists. Btw, you aren’t alway chasing him, in some books he’s chasing you:)

i have a guestion is it possible to enter the armory in the vampires castle and if so how

@Choiceofgamer98
As long as your health is 3+ . You have to feed the portal your blood to gain entry. Were you not able to get in? If so, your health most likely wasn’t high enough.

no every time i tried at the option to chose to go to the treasury, lad or armory it said magic traps killed me. thanks for the answer.

@Choiceofgamer98
mm…that must be an error, because neither the treasury or lab are gaurded by anything magical. Would you mind copy and pasting the text that you get?

Hey guys, I thought you might want to know that the sequel will be slightly bigger than the debut, and then the next 3 sequels will be about twice as the size as the debut.

I would love see more npc and more city , like search a posesed person killing people do exorcisms and use the book. If you need my humble help ask me. its good more but dont forget quality

Don’t worry @MaraJade, there’ll be more of that as the series progresses, and every sequel introduces more npc’s.

@Samuel_H_Young Since you’re doing social media marketing, you might want to use EmpireAvenue to socially syndicate your content, also you REALLY want to get a blog and domain name of your own, (if you don’t already have one, though I assume you do) it helps alot with branding you as an authority in your niche. Also (and this is incredibly important) start building your own email/text list, because wether or not COG is around to help with promotion to thier own email list does not make a difference, you need to build a tribe like audience around you and your books if you (like I) plan to write more than just COG.

(Of course you may have all of this covered and I might just be wasting my “breath”, if so, wonderful!)

@Headhunter180
Thanks for the reminder:)! I’ve already started on half of that and I plan to do the rest, too.

@Samuel_H_Young Glad to see you’re taking you’re marketing very seriously.
