- That sentence after choosing gender still starts with a comma.
- When I finish the geyser route I can tell Beckham what to do, but I can choose all three transformations.
- Before that (I think just before I start running through the field), you said I let my boggart rest before confronting the vampire. I don’t know if this is a bug or the prose confused me a bit.
before you submit it don’t forget to run quicktest and randomtest otherwise they will send it back if either test comes back with an error.
Also I pmd Jason and he said that you’d need to submit a game within the next two weeks for a pre Christmas release.
Good luck with it
@Dseg
I’ll fix those ASAP
@Nocturnal_Stillness
Thanks, that was nice of you! At the latest I’ll submit it next Friday, which should be in time
Its my pleasure. Just thought I’d pass on my intel I’d gathered. I’m at that point with Unnatural myself. Its finally passed both quicktest and 5000 iterations on randomtest. Now just adding finishing touches to submit it next week (hopefully).
@Nocturnal_Stillness
Wow, awesome:D we’ll both have our games published in like a month. I’ll buy Unnatural as soon as it comes out.
@Random
I read through it myself, and each playthrough should take about 45 minutes, or at least that’s what I’ve found.
@Havenstone
I was planning on it:). Thanks for the info
@Samuel_H_Young Sorry, perhaps I should have asked before going into the code itself.
I have a habit of skimming through things that I find could have been just said in a shorter sentence (not to say that your writing is bad, mind you, I think it’s excellent, purple prose just isn’t really my cup), although I did try to go back and read it all again whenever I did so with your game.
Maybe it’s just me and my fast reading skills (maybe?) but I’m pretty sure that I only got to 20-30 minutes if I didn’t have any errors.
But hey, that shouldn’t matter if the majority says 45 minutes, since… You know, majority. So yeah, it’s all fine here :b
@Random
Well I hope the amount of novels in my Demons Among Men series makes up for their brevity:P and it’s 80,000 words, which is longer than some of the CoGs such as Paranoia, Land of Three Classes, Marine Raider, Murder in Berlin and Showdown at Willow Creek
How may words was sabres ?
@JLBH
Around 200,000. But I plan to release sequels about every six months.
Wow you work fast I would never be able to do that good job.
@samuel_H_Young Ironically enough, I have not played any of the games that you mentioned xD (Only played the free demo versions of Murder in Berlin & Showdown, though.) I’ve so far only played Choice of Dragon & Broadsides & Kung Fu, Way Walkers 1 & 2, Paradox Factor, and slowly playing Sabres of Infinity on my brother’s phone.
Wow you work fast I would never be able to do that good job.
What the what?
That is wierd how did I post twice
@Storm
Thanks:D! Keep in mind that I do this full time.
@Random
And oh okay:P well my game is relatively short, but over twice the size of Choice of the Dragon. Oh and it’s longer than Paradox Factor, too.
@Samuel_H_Young How many words and hours do you write every day?
@DSeg
I work on my novels about 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. But this consists of promoting, designing merchendise, editing, coding, creating ideas and writing, not just writing. Also consider that my computer is painfully slow. I’d say I write about 2,000 words a day
@Samuel_H_Young I write 1000-1500 words a day. When I reach that range, my head slwoly starts becoming a mess and I start forgetting to put code in, misspelling stuff and things like that. I am still on the prologue and haven’t reached any of that beyond ideas, coding and writing. What do you do for promoting and designing merchandise?
