found something that could/should be edited “You’re life is important too.” the correct use would be your. But otherwise really good work, and I’m excited to read the whole thing.
Thanks! Fixed!
Unfortunately I don’t plan to write that kind of route with M. They’re not very keen on hurting others if they don’t have to. There is one I plan to have a similar dynamic with, however.
Please tell me F.
Please not Raven. That would end quite bad.
It’s probably S.
F is too prideful and already has a hobby.
Oh yea. Seem logic. I mean S has a fitting initial for it
QUESTION: If you could ask your favorite character one thing during an interaction, what would it be? I’ve been thinking up some new development questions, but I was interested in what people here thought!
The best answer would make its way into the game, and you can see how the character answers after the update.
M-Do you prefer I smack the front cheeks or back cheeks and how hard can I go?
V-What’s the story with Silvy?
Raven- How many have you gotten rid of for my sake?
L- What your favorite “romance” novel?
F-Is your mom single?
I’d ask Vee what’s the one thing she’s always wanted and never had. Then I’d get it for her. And then I’d cry.
M - What’s your favorite source of pain?
R - Would you be able to stop killing for me?
P - Why do you continually feel the need to insult me?
And I agree with @Bahamut on:
L - What’s your favorite “romance” novel? And why?
V - What’s the story with Silvy?
V - If you were ordered to shoot me, could you?
Ren/Robin - Who were you as a child, before you got into cheating at cards? Where you always a gambler and a risk taker looking for your next good time, or did you used to be someone else?
F - Tell me, how does a Royal forget how to behave nobly? You know, looking out for the less fortunate and whatnot. That is, assuming you ever knew how in the first place. I’m going to give you some advice, and I don’t care what you do with it, but maybe just maybe if you want people to follow you as a future King/Queen you should at least act like you care about them and what happens to them. What do I know though, I’m just a simple commoner that has been given a leadership position instead of you.
Yeah, me and F don’t really have a relationship, so I don’t care. Also, F might have a lot of pride, but I they aren’t stupid, and only a stupid person interrupts, someone who has “the look” in their eye that says they’ve had all their going to take. Anyone with a sibling probably knows what I’m talking about when I say “the look”.
If it’s exactly like that, they’d probably interrupt you halfway out of sheer pride, leading to a major dip in the relationship.
@Dartknight You have no idea how stubborn one can be when Pride is the leading Sin. No look will stop a prideful person with superiority complex from looking at you like you’re a mongrel that’s trying to bite their master. The only way someone like F would even let finish is if they consider you their equal or of great enough importance.
I’d ask V if they had any idea’s as to what they enjoy? (Activities or foods or any desire they have. It’s important that they stop equating themselves to a weapon. One way to do that is to establish they have desires of their own and they aren’t a tool for other people to use. )
Or someone who probably doesn’t care.
Em - What was life like for you before our parents met?
Leah - How did you cope while you were secluded from the world? If reading, which book helped?
V - Do you have any favorite memories outside of the battlefield?
P - How did you find yourself as your sister’s protector? How does it make you feel?
M - How did you discover your desire for pain?
F - What is your view on noblesse oblige?
S - Have you ever lost control of your vehicle? Did you think it was the end for you both?
I left out the two others, I am still trying to feel the characters out.
I think we grew up with E too early for there to be anything worth mentioning.
V’s made it clear that she only remembers war, death and everything in between. Although a memory they might consider precious could have to do with Silvy or someone that tried to help them keep their humanity.
Asking how P got into the position they’re in seem rather obvious, but asking how they feel about being M’s guardian is something one might worry, since they might have negative feeling towards their sibling.
The MC may, or may not have, grown up with Em for a while but we, the reader, have not. I am just asking that as an opportunity to world build and get to know the character better. It could also be a bonding moment.
As for V, at some point the MC is going to be digging into a layer beyond programming/brainwashing. There might be a memory of a parent, holiday, or something that has been repressed during the creation of this killing machine. My question would make sense at this moment.
My theory about P is that there must be some form of resentment in having to always self-sacrifice for the sake the sibling and, later, Exul as well. Maybe they want something for themselves? Maybe the MC can fill a void they don’t realize is there while keeping the siblings close? Many opportunities there.
True, one way I could see it happenning though, would be more as a flasback/memory that we share(while partially choosing) like remembering the time one of us got lost and the other found us sort of thing.
MC (after being interrupted for the 5th time by F): Raven.
Raven: Yes my love?
MC (looks F dead in the eyes, while not showing the discomfort Raven’s words cause): F is making me unhappy, you don’t want me to be unhappy do you? (Turns and leaves room.)
@No_This_Is_Patrick let’s see F not care about that.
MC and Raven get hunted by authorities/military from F’s home country and local authorities and then probably executed.
I agree with bahamut. It wouldn’t be a good idea to let Raven kill a royal. But maybe with the powers you are strong enough. Do you have a reason why your MC has this strong feelings towards F. Because I think F wouldn’t let you even begin a sentence if you approach them like this especially if you have “the look”.
