V- “If I was to be at odds with the school administration, who would have your loyalty?”
R- “Is there anyone you wouldn’t remove for me?”
M- “Will your sister be a problem for us once we get serious?”
A reason to not like F… Have you met F? The annoying bossy one who thinks they own everything and everyone just because they happened to be born to a different set of people than everyone else? I don’t want to speak for Dartknight but those are my personal reasons for disliking F.
Well then, I would ask
“Raven, did you love someone else before me? What happened to them?” and “I don’t like when you kill, it makes me feel sad, would you stop please?”
“Flay, you know that many famous kings and queens respected common people and were loved because of that? Some of them even MARRIED common people? Shouldn’t you learn from them?” And “So, you would NEVER fall in love with a common girl like me, right? ;)”
“Leah, any romance book you would recommend me? What is your favorite? Do you write fanfiction?”
“Emma, I like you from the first time I saw you when we were children” (this should be fun XD)
I didn’t phrase my question properly. I meant like why does they want to kill her. It felt like there are strong emotions on the MCs side (or they are like Raven/V and killing is normal for them). Killing someone who interrupted you isn’t the normal everyday reaction I would expect from someone who just don’t like the person. Sorry if I asked confusing
man, rachael (or whatever crazy lady’s name is) kinda reminds me of dr vylka from totem force crossed with the medic from tf2. i have a hunch she might be a major villain or somethin’ down the line.
Sorry if it’s already been reported, here are some pronounce errors:
Levi steels himself, although you can still hear a faint anxiousness in their voice,
but thankfully Levi is clumsy with his hands and you find a way to pin them down to the ground without much effort.
And here the single quotation mark is a bit lonely.
Oh! There you are Issac! I was worried- I mean, it’s dangerous to be alone, you know?"
"Damn it, I practiced non-stop all week! How am I still so damn slow?! Damn legs! you see Pierce stomp the ground and punch his leg, as if punishing it.
My MC does really want to kill F, I just imagine it being that F interrupting them 5 times after they’ve already had all they can take of them, might have pushed my MC to do something regretful. Besides, my MC hasn’t seen Raven’s murder room, all he knows is she’s extremely creepy, Extremely.
Maybe, maybe not. First, of all leaving without getting the final word against F rubs me wrong. Second, you’re living in the same group dorm (while switched with P) and having to do group exercises together don’t you think that you might get tired of saying “it’s not worth my time” and walking away, and instead decide you’ve had it with their crap. I know I sure would.
Oh okay. I like learning more from other MCs. It’s interesting to see how other play theirs.
Wouldn’t the normal reaction be "this isn’t worth my time"and leave?
You because you’re not getting anywhere with this and F because they’re not ok with a commoner barking at them.
Trying to humble F will take time and we’ll have to bend the knee every now and again(to which I wouldn’t do irl).
Before going to the market you need to give them a feeling of security like you’re the help from the castle, because they need to maintain a strong front for the small and newlymade country and they wouldn’t be able to relax if they think someone will be against them, their family and homeland.
I personally wouldn’t go too far in pleasing them I’m just as prideful if not more.
As soon as they try to make me into one their servants I’d be: “I’m willing to help, but I do not serve so don’t demand. Ask.”
I would ask Vin: “if you were ordered to kill me would you?”
And for Raven: “Would you kill those who would stand in my way?”
I don’t remember these, but they’ve been fixed. Thank you!
I see a lot of really good questions! Right now I’m favoring the confrontational questions with F! There’s many ways they can be answered haha
I have to admit, my favorite scenes by far have to be the McDonald’s reference about the Golden Arches if you go to the museum with Leah and when Snipper asks if Leah’s cleavage is real at the fight club in the airport hanger party. In addition, idk if it’s just me, but Leah kinda reminds me of Hinata from Naruto. Being that she’s so shy towards the MC and polite. Ofc she doesn’t ya e byakugan or anything but just how they act is very similar in my opinion. Overall very enjoyable story. Would recommend
im really weirded out by E’s romance path. i chose the spy parents background since i thought that path really emphasize that mc and E are not related by blood, seeing mc was plucked from the streets by E. but i guess by the way E handled the romance, saying “we’re family” “what will others think” is raking things really awkward. also what’s with the obsession with sitting in mc’s lap? ?? just…feels like romancing your full sibling and its. gross
Never before has a game managed to make me want to look into the relationship of every single RO with the MC, and end up with vastly different reactions afterward.
E, well it took effort stomaching and getting past the step-sibling aspect though it also uses that angle of having had more time and closeness to work it in. At the very least it helps E has to rationalize it as well. Once I can get past that it’s rather cute.
R, they seem fun and like they’d be the ones to have the most adventures with MC. Not to mention their flirtiness makes quite the impression right off the bat. They seem like an example of someone who could benefit from a middle of the road change from their potential arcs. Curbing their reckless behavior to the point they don’t do something crazy but still have a healthy amount of fun when they can.
L was my favorite. A shy, gentle nerd and a romantic personally touches my heart. Playing out a shy MC around them makes their scenes together feel absolutely adorable. Seriously, the visit to the museum was a perfect first date. I want a reading date between them and the MC at some point. I’m looking forward to helping this shy bean become more confident.
V, oh my gosh just poor V. Just wanted to protect and serve MC, it feels so sad when they act on their training. I find myself sympathetically going. “V, nooo.” They need so much help.
M, sigh Oh M. I expected their relationship to be so soft and then they reveal they’re a masochist. Not gonna lie, I’m rather into it and I certainly want to see where this is going to go.
P, this is actually quite interesting. I really like the whole dynamic with this intense rivalry between the two team leaders and they really wanting to make it a competition. I don’t know what it is about their personality that is intense and aggressive but it just works with getting them to soften up. Maybe the teasing.
Raven, oh boy, they’re, they are a lot. Just also need so much help. Their path I am definitely going down the path of getting them all the help. I know they need to at least go to jail for awhile for murder but I like the idea of a very dedicated partner once they’re more stable.
S, also very fun. I just really like that trope of someone’s partner holding onto the waist of their partner who rides some kind of motor bike. I just imagine the MC being the one cheering them on at every event. I think there’s a way of getting them both used to the city and keeping them as an awesome daredevil.
F, when I first met them I was just like “well fuck you too, bitch.” when I actually went ahead with going on their date it seems that there are hints they can be decent too.
Now for the poly romance options, I find the dynamic interesting.
P and M, well that could be nice.
R and E. Is it weird that their dynamic makes me feel that E is secretly suppressing their fondness for R?
L and F. So my favorite alongside my least favorite RO? Well that’s rather interesting. Hopefully F can make L more confident and L can make F more humble using reason pointing out the logic in being a kind ruler. Then things should be good.
V and Raven, Holy hell that can not be good for anyone. They’d be an impentrable wall regarding anyone trying to get close to the MC. At least it would make it easy to get them both treatment.
Alright, question for my favorite RO.
It’s L, obviously.
“What’s your favorite romance novel trope?” Hopefully it’s something romantic so that MC can replicate it as a romantic gesture on their next date or a special occasion or somthing like that.
One thing that’s worrying me about the game though. Are the stats going to have a point moving forward in the game? I’m just curious as I don’t like games that rely on stat checks but I’m wondering if it’s just going to be flavor text or give a general impression of the MC in general interaction.
I’m happy you think so! And I’m glad you found that reference! I was pretty excited putting it in haha.
I apologize that the route wasn’t too your liking! From my knowledge regarding the sitting in lap, when I wrote the added personality additions I made it so you can choose that or a number of other options. The game shouldn’t force you to haha.
I hope you at least find enjoyment in another romantic partner im writing!
I’m happy I was able to give you such diversit, whether good or bad I hope it was at least enjoyable!
The game isn’t stat focused, and I’m not planning on it to be. The stats only offer different flavor text, but they won’t hinder you throughout the romance/story. Your choices will affect the majority of the plot development, with the biggest obviously being your choice of RO. Other than that, previous choices will only increase the number of options available to you, as I’m attempting to not lock players out of options to choose based on stats. RP is also another goal of mine in this, so take that how you may haha.
*F exists
Me: “I shall chop you down with my humble axe, you arrogant tree!”
Something I’ve been thinking about is it would be cool to define our own appearance, and what we look like. Given how we’ve seen pretty good descriptions of others, it’s always had me wonder, well what does our character look like?
Personally, I’m more annoyed than pleased when I have to define the MC’s appearance. I haven’t noticed many uses of the variables after setting it in the games I’ve played, and it makes it harder for me to imagine the characters appearance myself. That’s just my opinion though.
Not to incite any excitement or anything, but I can see the airport scene for chapter three being finished for all character paths and Team Exul’s portions released within this upcoming week, so prepare yourselves! I’ve been writing slow recently due to some overwork at my job, but I plan to kick it into high gear to finish up these scenes!
Yes! Finally I can get my hands on Raven again
