Ok, so with that in mind, how is Emil shorter than a female MC? Regardless of age, males are usually taller than females. Unless the female is taller than average. Otherwise even a short male would be roughly the same height as an average female… frankly I always imagine all of my MCs (who are female) as short for their age anyways. But even if she were average in height, I just can’t possibly imagine how Emil is shorter than her, unless he’s in middle school, and the MC is in high school, or in this case college, like you said. So with all that in mind, wouldn’t Emil be the same height as a female MC at the very least?
From what I gather the MC or FeMC are of average height(since we don’t choose it) and E is considered short.
So probably below 5’2 for Emma and 5’5 for Emil.
@VioletHikari It also depends where there from our average can be considered tall in other areas and like wanamigo said genetics tend play a part. It probably isn’t mentioned since it’s isn’t exactly something that comes up in normal conversations. At best their height will be acknowledged during our one on one interactions or as a comment/insult from someone else.
not necessarily, genes play a lot into height and since E is technically your stepsibling ¯_(ツ)_/¯ plenty of reasons they would be shorter than even a short MC.

But that’s my point, for an average female they are roughly 5’4"-5’7", so they should be roughly the same height as a male E (AKA Emil).
But they are probably considered tall, correct? That is the point I am trying to make; unless the female MC is tall, Emil should be at the very least roughly the same height as the MC.
And no where in the WiP (from what I’ve seen) does it mention that Emma/Emil is considered short, other than when they are literally looking up at the MC when they are speaking with each other…
But not once is it mentioned that E is short because of genetics…

i’m Scandinavian so i’m actually the short one in this equation 
there hasn’t been a mention of anyone’s ethnicity either (though with only three… countries? eh. that might be a null point anyways)
my point is, E doesn’t need a reason to be shorter than the MC ¯_(ツ)_/¯

@wanamingo I’m actually considered short where I’m from too (America, female, 5’2"), and I just think it’s kind of strange that there is a male shorter than that… but clearly it’s just me that finds it odd 
i’m sure you’re not alone it just didn’t register for me at all since i tend to make my characters on the tall side :b

@wanamingo I tend to make mine short, like me, it helps me to “get in character” when the characters I play have at least one thing in common with me, and height is usually the item I choose.
I’ll see about adjusting the stats a little bit! The dream I can very well see being a more improbable consideration for a skill boost, although the background will still be a major portion of your initial stats, for obvious reasons being that’s how you grew up 
I’ll also see about adding another stat boost somewhere.

Well, I’ve placed all the heights to be relative to the MC. I don’t give any definitive heights for the main purpose that I don’t want to disrupt people’s head cannons. This is also why I don’t go into major detail of how they look. Emil being of short stature is also something I’ve had planned to juxtapose with his power.
I’m surprised V isn’t also mentioned in this, considering I’ve placed them within a similar category as E, although it’s basically the same argument, haha.
I’ve placed this as a mention within the narrative when you visit the gym with them, R calls them little, F insults their stature by referring to them as a gremlin. There aren’t heaps of references to them being short, because honestly that’s not a majorly defining trait for them. All the characters are defined more by their personality, is how I tend to see it haha.

I don’t really see a problem with the starting stats, dream gives +10 to one and +5 to another, background +10, waking up +5, asking about the injecton +2 Int, after climbing the stairs +5, going anywhere asides from the gym with E +5, paying attention to class +5 Int, sparring with Leah +2 fighting, and beginning of chapter 2 +10.
I usually end up with 2 stats in the 30s and 1 in the mid 20s.
I say this is rather good enough amount of stat boosts and space between, atleast for now.

Well my romance with Raven clearly should have stopped sometime ago if I was sane. Kudos for putting in one big ass nope button. I’m never going to use it though. It’s not her fault they were in the way.
Seems the headmaster is acknowledging I had Vee put down some hostiles, so that’s again cool to see it acknowledged. It won’t happen again! Us getting caught that is. I’ll have Raven clean up the mess.
On the subject of MC height, I usually make them tall when possible, it also helps me get into character.
On the subject of Polly, I know there’s a few games that do it that I’ve enjoyed the Weyrwood being one of them. With V and R that would be one wild ride, which probably ends in a fight at first (Mainly R losing it and V defending). Assuming there’s no bodies (including the MCs) it could work. If that’s a good or bad thing is up to the history books however.
Drats. Got around to doing M’s story line out of curiousity and I like that one too. Well that makes 4 different routes I have to pursue now.

Although V is my favourite, Raven is pretty unique… Thank God… Or thanks to @LeoXII who is the writer. I don’t think the academy could survive two Ravens.
