Treasure Seeker of Lady Luck leaves me feeling quite dissatisfied

While not as bad as the abomination that is City of Clouds or some others, this game feels like it could have had great potential. It is kinda sad that THIS has been one of the best COG’s in the past little while.

It lacked good characters, the puzzles were crap and the choices seemed to be lacking as well.
What sort of feelings did you guys have about this game? What could have been done to improve it?
