I am not English native either and have problems with the gender, sex difference before. Like I understand it for natives sex is with the gender you sleep with or The physical genitalia you have. And Gender is with one you identify (don’t care your genitalia) Like i am no binary, or I am a female (even if I still have male physical attribute) I hope it helps, I have many problems with all this too, my advice is just be humble and asking here people is really helpful.

No, I know the differences between gender and sex. Like I said, however, I don’t want to add gender for you to choose, I prefer it that you the one who play the game and choose who to romance and thus creating a flexible gender main character.
I am still not clear I am sorry, my head doesn’t seem to think straight today. Then again, it about 40 celsius in Bangkok.
Well, I really don’t like that at all. That would kill all my attachment with my character. I play as a character with a gender, a personality, not a Sex romance. So If I don’t like any romantic option, I am a sort of ghost or angel (nor intersex, nor woman no man non binary) I am anything there. I want define Who I am not Who I want to bang. Maybe I want have romance, maybe not. What I want is a fleshed out character in a ROL PLAYING GAME. If there is no role, aka character. Neither could be an rpg it would be just souless game mechanisms.

Fine, fine, I will add gender choice next patch, not that it will limit your romance options or make that much different since the royalties have their own preference at the start in relationship, you can still romance them just more difficult since you are not their ‘fetish.’
Also, to your information, you can romance a ghost, an angle, a skeleton and a sword…I did not make this up, look at the original chart of the game in the link.
I was just give you my feedback, you could do whatever you want with your game. But I found weird in a write rpg can’t choose a gender, or at least have a pre set one. For instance the witcher there is a preset, yes, but it has a gender. I am found important for a game could define my own character as I am this and I have this personality. And gender is important for that. Romantic relationship for me is totally optional, define my character is primary . Of course maybe is just me.

Problem is, romance is, somewhat, center of the game; not necessary, but still a center.
I found weird That as a agile and charm elf I can’t be a duelist however I could use Great swords Twice my own body… Well Like in Final Fantasy. It is I likebeing an elf duelist not a battle mage, not a berseker with giant weapons. And shield and sword is boring…

@555sarin I’m finding the Amazon reproduction thing kind of strange. It’s just that being born with both parts is a very uncommon thing. I think it would be more believable if they kidnapped warriors then breeding with the strongest and either killing or keeping the men as slaves to keep the Amazons “pure”. The same would come into play with children, to keep the Amazons purely women they could get rid of the boy children by giving them away to merchants/travelers/other people who might care for children rather then killing or pressing them into slavery. Or maybe their society is just a pure matriarchy where men have no power.
These are just some ways I would deal with this. That way they won’t seem like they’re on the brink of extinction considering how rare someone like that would be.
