Hello, I’ve noticed that there isn’t any guide to way walkers university on here. I have spent a long time trying to find the “best” path. This is the absolute best path with the most stat boosts I can find as well as being a predominantly exemplary talent (all the talents). A few caveats before we begin:
I haven’t read waywalkers 2
I do not have the Halloween dlc so I skip that
this path is mainly balancing all the ways, not just Montage
I try to get friendship with both Semryu and Jun as high as possible
always ask your angel questions whenever that comes up, it boosts Montage for free. there is one section that is a trap though, I will state it
This guide doesn’t go to the end chapter, there’s no stat boosts and it’s up to you
with that out of the way let’s begin!
- fur coated faces - this is a very optimized and specific path, with the Nor’wah race we will get +1 str we need
- thoughtful and a bit curious - all other options increase our red
- attempting to make sense of my odd visions - this option makes our talent strong, we need strong talent to get all the talents
- um, hello…voice? - talking to our angel guide always gives us montage boosts
- decided to listen more to the voice - more montage boosts
- choose gender -if you don’t subscribe to any gender you become pure ishim and get an achievement

- …find true love? - it took me so long to finally decide on this, +5 to charm, we will get our charm up to 35 through small boosts so we can get more small boosts
- While I can’t speak to what - During the making of this guide I found that being neutral and then friendly to Jun gives us more stats and an achievement. Sweet
- Give him the extended version -other option is red
- Pick your name - Any will do Eirian, wynn, or arawn are especially good as they boost a lower stat. (I pick Cariad then later choose Desmoulein when they ask what god you want to follow, this is the most balanced approach. with all but creativity at or above 30)
- I am equally good at all of them - this is why we choose to make our talent strong, all talents are ours and we get an achievement
- either I find my Abilities can be over-whelming or say you don’t have any flaws - this boosts our red by 5, the alternative is to lower our faith by 15. In the words of Montage “all Ways are equal”. a little bit of evil is far better than that major stat hit.
- Loading and unloading gear - a decent strength boost we are going to need
- Nobody can be that good - dex boost and gives us another boost next choice
- I think s(he) really is this pure- dex, faith boost, and red lowered
- Yes!
- Magical and adventurous - more strength boosts, your tale will be boring however
- To hell with relying on abilities alone - final strength boost just in time, we need it to pass the next check
- Charge! -death boost for the stat check we want
- Yes, it shouldn’t have to suffer - karma boost, healing boost, and lowers red by 2, nice
- Any choice besides agreeing with them is fine
- Who do you mean by he? - dex and karma boost, a lot of the path i take is mainly taking 2 stat boosts over 1
- ask angel question and then Disgraceful acting like that - dex, faith boost and red -1, next best option would increase montage and creativity by 1 and lower red by 1. which is fine, creative just doesn’t seem important to boost and dex will be 35, all checks go by 5s so it might be better in the next game.

- ask angel then take Semryu up on his offer - if you don’t you’ll wind up having to go with him anyway or he’ll hate you. i believe this also lowers an academic hit you get for skipping history class. Lots of reasons to go this path

- Push semryu - dex and death boost, this is debatable but it lets us get to the 35 dex path. Also you could throw your own energy ball for an achievement, however no stat boosts come of it.

- Club time, pick up jun and sem if you want. doesn’t matter. what does matter is that you choose the dueling club and by Montage do not choose not to join a club, you’ll be missing out on so many stat boosts.

- almost the final boost of the game. choose either psychology or just let him eat it. I choose psychology as letting him eat it just sounds too red.
- I can heal him with Ability! Maybe. - boost to healing and talent, you will fail this as it’s nearly impossible unless you go a very specific build.

- Agreeing with semryu completely. as a united front - final boost and it’s a beautiful one. boost to charm, dex, and montage. the 3 most important stats
- The pair of you might not always - finally this is a boost to Jun friendship with no downsides
