There’s no gender restriction, men used naginata as well. It was actually the women that decided to used naginata both as a weapon for self defense and a symbol of their status. Functionally speaking, a naginata allow a woman to keep their enemies at a distance, essentially neutralizing any physical advantages their adversaries might have. Plus, it’s a ton cheaper/easier to make and maintain than a katana. As for the monks, same reason almost, it’s cheaper and easier to get than a katana. Plus it’s a good weapon to keep a samurai at bay. With that said though, once guns arrived, these monks just sorta dropped the naginata and started hoarding guns

It was always five. I asked long ago what weapons you people wanted to fit in. Five is manageable, but I want to have that choice matter, it’s the fact that every weapon will have a special ability that can be used in certain situations that could slow me. Plus a special attack.
It doesn’t matter, I like to write that kind of things.
I’m actually thinking of adding a sixth. But then I’ll lock it down and never touch the number of weapons again.

Yes, you’ll have your katana in another story in the same universe, in the eastern continent. Once I finish one of the two side projects I’m working on, I’ll begin to write this one.

That required Great Finesse and a Modicum of Strength for the force needed to put behind it or to hold onto the weapon

You are the wight king, I think you’re strong enough to use the equivalent of a shortsword attached to the end of a stick. 
As for finesse, it’s not a requirement, in the game at least, the wight king is very skilled as is, and if they specialize in brutality, they’ll use the glaive in the same way anime characters and Naomasa Li(samurai warriors 4 II) do.

And if you’re finesse, the wight king will use it more as anime naginata wielders do.
Every weapon except the mace has two fighting style depending on your finesse stat.

I dont remember if this was asked but is there any country tht would be willing to attempt to make an alliance with the wight king?

Humans really have a problem with undeads, unless the wight king goes to them first they won’t try to unless the country is thoroughly overwhelmed and is clearly losing(if they even care about their people that is).
Dark elves as a whole don’t have that sort of qualms, if allying with you is advantagous to them, they’d do it. But they are too far yet. Most of the living beside humans have varying amount of bias against undeads. Alliances are hard to forge when you’re so obviously the big bad to every other people.

Let me guess, instead of allying with us, the human, dwarves and elves will form their own alliance. They will call themselves the Alliance. While the night elves, orcs and trolls will also band together and call themselves the Horde. Finally, our undead army will be call the Scourge. Am I right or am I confusing it with something else kappa
