The vampire can be very interesting as a character if she comes out like I imagined her, you’ll have a great influence over her personality.
How old is she? How long has she been a vampire?
Was this always planned?
She is a pure blood vampire, which is quite different from the regular vampire. They can actually be born contrary to other vampires which are always “turned”. Meaning they grow and get older, only much slower than a human, they are still “immortals” and stop aging at one point.
She’s a young vampire(though some decades old by human standards, pure-bloods are much more mature than their human counterpart at the equivalent age though), and has lived almost her entire life secluded into her master’s castle. She looks like an eighteen girl. Her isolation gave her her actual personality though.
Altering her personality? Yeah.
The wight king is a force of change, they change the world as much as what is around them. Every who stands by their side must await great changes within themselves.
So… how old is she mentally and what’s her actual age? I can’t imagine decades of seclusion is good for most.
GASP
Mentally? Childish, as in late adolescence childish, at first at least. She’ll grow quickly, exposed as she’ll to the true outside world and the wight king. Though she’ll retain a some of that childish traits later to stay annoying. As for her actual age? I don’t know yet. Thirty? Fifty? Something old enough to be shocking but not so that she would lose the personality I gave her.
She was pretty annoyed at being stuck in the castle for so long.
BTW, she has been trained during her prolonged stay at the keep, diplomacy(when she’s in the mood to be diplomatic), fencing(though she’s terrible at it), magic(in which she surpasses by far any other vampire in term of raw power and control though she lacks any kind of real combat experience), courtly behavior(dance, etiquette, y’know), history, maths and other boring subjects.
Oh, and most characters beyond Asterius and Helena aren’t finished yet and bound to change in some way over the course of the game’s creation.
73?
Does she think she’s good at it?
Who trained her? Who’s her master?
At least they haven’t shown up yet for me to like them
She’d never admit it, but she knows that she’ll be in trouble if an enemy gets at close-quarter.
Though it’d be quite hilarious if she didn’t. XD
People from the vampire court. The vampire overlord of this region.
She’s one of the first to appear. You’ll see her soon enough.
Why, of course.
She’s strong in magic, can’t she cast fist?
Is lock in a castle standard procedure?
Can i change her into a bloodthirsty monster?

She’s already a vampire you know I mean I guess we could help her become a lawyer too but…
No, her case is special and doubly so.
A vampire lawyer… Now I’m afraid.
The only thing equally terrifying would be either a vampire politic or banker.
A specialist in blood and shadow magic. She is less proficient with ice.
Keep in mind that even pure-bloods aren’t proper mages so they can’t use every magic trick in the book. Vampires have a special affinity with those three.
The Wight King is the master of casting door-busting kick.
Ah! XD
You’ll be satisfied I hope. Wanna start a door genocide? :3
Welp, I’m tired, I’ll go to sleep now. See you all wednesday night.
Are they limited to those three? Can they learn others?
Now I just need to know how to turn people/things (oh who am I kidding? Same difference) into doors
It’s rare, but it’s possible. Fire is off-limit because of their weakness to it, they can be born with fire powers but it’s very dangerous for themselves(if you have to explode your arm off to throw a fireball, it’s not a very good deal). Thunder is the most likely. Earth, water and other nature magic would be incredibly hard for them to use.
Beside elements, they can use ritual magic and enchantments like other species awakened to magic. I haven’t set yet all the limits.
I remember the good ol’ days of Dracula when vampires weren’t afraid of a little tan, nowadays they sparkle and stalk their crushes.
Sounds pretty fun for magic shows.
Usually I see stories with undead having an earth affinity, was there a particular inspiration for that set of weaknesses?
Is there any character that have ties with mc before mc dead and gonna appear later at story?and why this ast-(what?) Character also somewhat make me curious?
Earth magic is both earth itself and some control over plants. (Earth mages are mostly tanks/healers if I had to employ mmo terms)
I thought: “Earth is ‘alive’ it would be only natural that the undead have trouble manipulating it.”
Earth magic is mostly a druid’s thing. Plus I forgot to mention it but the vampires also have a great affinity to air magic, that kind of affinities often mean being weaker in the opposite element. For example the dwarves are great Geomancers, but very loosy Aeromancers and Electromancers.
Eh, my vampires don’t get instant one-shot from just one ray of sunlight at least. AND they don’t sparkle, which is always a good thing.
Yep, though the vampire that have to wait decades for their arm to regenerate would be pretty grumpy about that.
