The corvus is already basically a scythe, just a military version of it. Unlike the lucerne hammer or bec de corbain, it doesn’t focus on the bonking part, but instead has a long, curved scythe-like blade that kind of resembles a billhook on steroid.
It’s my attempt to make scythes into a form of polearm that could see use by soldiers, knights or mercenaries, something practical and dangerous (rather than clumsy and awkward to use like real scythes are). In-game it will be used mostly like a scythe by the wight king, great for brutal and dirty fighting.
(Seriously, if you’ve never used a scythe irl, I recommend you try, you’ll immediately get why the war scythe was made the way it is in our world.)
Edit: The igorot headhunting axe also was an inspiration

Yes there will be many romance options in the game. Many companions and even side characters or enemies will have romance paths. There will also be one night stands available with some characters sometimes.

This is very good, but it seems that there may be a demo with more than chapter 4? Either way it’s very good, my appreciation for a great story so far!

There are two demos. The most recent one is the one with four chapters, and it’s the version I’m working on. The other is ancient as hell, yes it has more chapters but it isn’t actually that much farther ahead than the main version.
Basically after a drastic rewrite back then, I decided to start over from scratch, but left the old demo up in case some people wanted to check it out. So you may read it if you really want to, but I was significantly worse back then so it’s not great.
The old demo is there more as a piece of history than anything else.

So I was about to get a very interesting job at a cool place, well-paid and all. And then something totally outside of my control hit the company and they couldn’t hire me anymore. So yeah, I wasn’t feeling so well after that.
Imagine losing a job opportunity because of an international diplomacy screw-up, I guess that’s one thing I can brag about?
I’ll go back to writing soon but jeez.
