Most of the gods are dead from what I remember or very weak so I would assume not,but on the other hand angels might be there own race.
Angels exist. Like demons are cretures of chaos, born of pure emotion and passion, angels are creatures of order, they rely on unwavering belief, on virtues. This is how I made them conceptually.
Some angels were made by gods, but others were born from heaven, and their roles vary a lot depending on their place in the hierarchy and the virtue they were born from. Unlike demons, angels have an extremely strict hierarchy and very strict codes.
Angels are not allowed to casually interact with mortals. The only way angels interact with mortals is either to purge a world of demons, to punish a mortal world that goes against them or to convert an untamed world.
Like you can imagine, it is extremely rare for an angel to break these rules, but there were exceptions. These angels were immediately branded as rogues, but it happened before that an angel granted their help to someone promising.
Yes, there are few gods left, those that managed to hide or that were spared. But angels are not always under the orders of a god. And not always a real one.
How did the gods die…and more imporantly can we kill the rest?
I won’t say right now. And trying to kill the rest would be like shooting at the ambulance.
Are there any races that would be willing to join the Wight kings army? Other than the undead.
What is this talk of non-human and undead? My Inquisitors will have to deal with this threat immediately.
It will depend on you. Some might be willing to join you if you show you’re at least somewhat trustworthy.
The xeno scum is uniting. The only thing more terrifying than your mortal enemy is your mortal enemy and pals.
I just need the demons , undead and all the hated races to join me
This heresy is so strong that it resurrected our almighty emperor!
Should I call upon Exterminatus m’ lord?
You’re really asking for a moderator to slap your wrist you know. They intervened today. I’d rather the mods don’t have to intervene again, so try to keep it at least related to the wip.
aye aye
So, I don’t know if this was asked before but, will we be able to “spread our corruption to other beings” creating things like a thrall or something similar?
And while I’m still at it, can we “give our powers to someone” and turn them into something like a Champion?
Wight Kings have a corruptive influence on their environment and that extends to people as well. The more time a mortal spends in the presence of the Wight King, the more they will begin to change, mentally and physically.
That may manifest in very different ways, but this often translates into an unnatural fascination for the Wight King that will slowly develop into their mind. The influence of the Wight King is rarely a good thing for mortals, simple humans are defenseless against the draining powers of wk, unless the Wight King significantly restrains themselves the weakest humans could die in a single day simply from being close to wk, without any effort on their part.
Stronger mortals could grow to resist to the Wight King’s passive drain though, from then on, corruption can manifest in different ways.
Not directly. Not safely. Though it would be possible to make someone slightly stronger for a limited time without them suffering too much from it, you can’t just give someone the power of a champion. Their body just wouldn’t be ready for it, you can’t force someone to become a champion like you can’t force yourself to become a champion.
Becoming a champion is not a simple matter of power. It takes years of training, conditioning and a lot of luck.
Ok, thank you
So, best-case scenario after a lot of training you can give a small temporary boost to someone that is equally prepared to the sudden surge of power?
Even then, it’s not safe. A Wight King can’t just magically make people stronger by snapping their finger. What it actually does is allow their body to go beyond their natural limits. It makes them stronger, but it’s their own strength they’re using and it will strain their muscles.
The human body is stronger than they can safely handle, when wk gives them a buff, it’s like setting their strength to 100%. Even if the human sat perfectly still the whole time, they would still need a few days to fully recover.
Blessings work differently. They are an external help, that actually add to your natural abilities in a way that will not harm you, especially since most blessings are meant to protect you as well.
FTFY
So the EPA is our number one hunter right?
It’s better for undead right? Since you mentioned that they also get the boost if we do the horizontal tango, the no pants dance, rolling in the hay, bumping uglies, hitting skins, shagging, the old wam bam thank you mam, fornication. I’d rather not have my partner literally have trouble standing for days.
Hey. Perhaps if we can find some kind of jolly purple giant somewhere.
Imagine the environmental activists manifesting in front of the citadel gates with the skeletons guards desperately trying to shoo them away.
Reading this:
On a more serious note, undead already can go beyond what is safe for their body. That’s one of their particularities, undead don’t have anything holding them back. Husks are known to be especially dangerous because they have no sense of self-preservation, they keep swinging until their arms are basically paste.
It’s universal? Sweet. Now Bob and I can celebrate our love.
Truly our greatest threat.
Oh I got more
