It refers to the love triangle route.

@Seraphinite @spunkycatninja

Just thought I’d share this in case you two weren’t aware, since I’ve seen people asking about saves for book 2.

I know you’re just starting book 3, but as fast as you write (and as many split scenes as you have!), you’ll probably be through 50K pretty quickly.

@EvilChani Thanks for the heads up! I’ll be sure to pass that along! I’m sure she’ll hit that in no time! :slightly_smiling_face:

It’ll be so nice actually being able to save a lot sooner instead of waiting until the game is almost out to remember how I want each route to go.

By the time Book 3 rolls around I would have multiple saves that I can’t remember which is which. :joy:

Naming convention… or spreadsheet :joy:

Mine are
Book number so B1/2 - Name - Bobby/Douglas - LI - Main skill - escaped (if murphy escaped)
Works like a charm

I’m planning to do a spreadsheet as soon as I’m not lazy enough to do so. Will probably do the same thing as you advise, thanks for the tip.

Though I have “canon” route. Do you have multiple variations of your romance routes?

Mc name- LI
Mc name- LI -use this
Mc name- LI -use this one
MC name- LI -NO USE THIS ONE
Mc name- LI - date - USE THIS ONE!!

Is how I do it. Didn’t really plan it out well.

My save game files are not the greatest either. I wish we could delete the ones we don’t want anymore.

I’ve got a note where I keep track of my main decisions. But I’m rather lazy about keeping it updated. :smirk: So… we’ll see how that goes.

That is so tidy and organized I admire you. All my saves are marked Mc & M. Like all 11 of them. Not counting the savegame for A and LT. (Oh god…)

I’m desperate for Book 3 but I suppose good things (A I’m looking at you) come to those who wait…Sera is awesome.

Yeah, if something is important to me, I’ll add something like ‘shy’ or ‘angry’, bitten/arm/neck. Can also modify for new stuff like F+ (signed treaty) / F- (didn’t sign)

Oh, I started with it, cause my savegames in other games were a mess :joy:
Also, I tend to use 3-4 names for different runs/ROs, so just putting name - LI may not lead me to the right save, cause I used the same name but with different stats or decisions

Summary

Screenshot of my SoH saves. As you can see, it developed over time

Edit: In the middle of a TWC playthrough, so I can’t grab a screenshot of those. Sorry!

This literally looks like my earlier saves of book 1. Before book 2 came out, I came up with a decent naming system… and made a spreadsheet to keep track of the detective names with important choices, lol. Then I made three new detectives because the ones I had for A weren’t working, so I shifted my N detective to the LT and made new ones. Now, at least, I can keep track of them!

Me, too. I have way too many saves with characters I decided not to use!

Haha! :joy: mess is an apt word to describe my save files for sure. But then again I’m predictable I just go with similar stats so it’s not too hard to sort through them. I can’t do intimidating :worried: and I tried to do stoic…Well key word is tried here. :weary:

Haha, I hear you! There are some stats that I never really get high, because I just don’t like the way it plays out in the story.

HAHA!!! perv monkey! Why didn’t I think of that one before omg…:joy: my SOH saves are mostly MC- wild boar maniac or MC& J. Like I said, predictable.
