I think all vampires can have children with humans, the only kind of vampires that can have kids together are natural born vampires. For example a vampire from the echo world reproduces with another vampire from the echo world. They can reproduce together.
Maybe in book 5 our character will be yeeted in the supernatural dimension?
Wait whaaaaat? Is there going to be a fifth book ?
There will be 7.
Sweet Jesus! I wasn’t aware of that! Or maybe I read it somewhere and just don’t have memories of it… It happens a lot :(.
But thaaankssss for the info <3<3<3
if their male versions can get the female MC pregnant, then it goes without saying that the male MC can do the same for a female UB.
I was just asking, maybe it was mandatory that the human was the one to get pregnant
That’s what I was wondering too. Since Vampires are immune to diseases and able to regenerate, it’s not wild to assume that their bodies will reject a pregnancy as the baby needs to take nutrients from the hosts body to grow and therefore could be mistaken for a threat, or a form of a parasite (please don’t come for me parents, your babies are not parasites).
Is becoming a vampire going to be an option for the MC? I didn’t know that. Hmm. The thought of aging and dying while your spouse stays eternally young isn’t great, but I’m not sure my characters would want to go full vampire either. Tough choice.
Can we become a Fae instead? That sounds much more fun.
It would be so weird for the vampire. I know it’s superficial (and that people will eat me alive for saying it) but I would just leave once the Detective hit a certain age. Sure it’s cold as hell, but .
Even though I’m indecisive about almost everything, when the choice presents itself, my canon route will be my MC staying human. I hardly ever make anything canon for my cog MCs.
The thought of living forever while everyone around you passes on sounds like a horror show personally. Yeah powers and immortality sounds kickass but I rather take the dirt nap. I can understand why A busy themselves in work, if you’re busy you don’t have to think about it. N had one night stands because of the constant loneliness and M just detaches themselves from the people around them.
That’s cold blooded 🕵🏿♀️Pun intended too
What happened to “until death do us part”, at least wait until the detective is six feet underground, damn!
I know! It’s terrible. I’d be the worst vampire lover for human. And forget death do us part, my vows would be, ‘until your 55th birthday sis.’
Pretty sure she said in an ask that both the detective (if female) and UB LI (if female) can all get pregnant, because someone asked how they’d react (as both sexes) to being pregnant/having gotten the detective pregnant.
Almost 100% sure she’s said that the detective will remain human through the series, but the topic will come up (with maybe a choice in the epilogue). Frankly I’m with you…I’d rather the detective become their own unique case through their abilities growing and developing. Still ‘technically’ human on a genetic level, but with expanded powers (and hopefully a way to lengthen their lifespan without having to be turned into a vampire).
My detective wouldn’t be thrilled at the prospect (she loves chocolate too much >_>;; ) of becoming a vampire, but if push came to shove she’d do it to spare her LI the pain of having to watch her grow old and die.
I think that it was mentioned (idk if rumor or actually confirmed tho) that the MC may be able to get a choice at the end of the series to turn into a vampire
no idea about other species; as (i don’t think) they can turn that simply
we were told that werewolfs can turn humans with the classic bite or scratch. So… Turning someone in a supernatural isn’t difficult? Tough i think that the vampire transformation can kill the human, but again, i may be misremembering.
all the vampires except F were turned, so the MC should be fine
I was mostly talking about the Fae that they mentioned.
Werewolves are…kinda complicated lol; just like vampires, I’ve heard versions that they can turn them with one bite; that it only works on the full moon; etc
I don’t know about Wayhaven’s werewolves though
… wait, what? N did??
I like playing elves. What else can I say.
Hmmm it would depend on if Wayhaven-verse werewolves get extended lifespans (frankly would rather be a lycanthrope than a vampire if they had the longer lifespan version and kept their intellect while shapeshifted). If so… “Oh Tane…can you do me a favor?”
