It would!!! Though, I have to say, knowing that they have the photo but choose to keep it for themselves alone also has a charm to it, in my opinion. It’s like… they don’t want to share this ‘I will pretend this photo isn’t important to me but it actually is’ with others? And, of course, they have a reputation to uphold XD

Progress Report - 21st June 2021
So, Nate/Nat’s scene for the Research version is all done! And I’m seriously happy with it 
It was so much more than expected but I cannot wait for you guys to try it!! I also can’t wait to hear which way your MC’s decide to go in this scene…
As I was writing, I actually also thought of something that could possibly come up again and be mentioned in a fun way in Chapter 14 for N’s scene, so I made sure to note that down. I love when characters in games reference small things you’ve said or done, especially together, makes it feel more impactful and immersive, so I really want to get a lot more of that in as I go!
I was talking to one of my readers this week, and he was like ‘So you don’t actually just have two versions of chapter 8, you have like 8? What with having a completely different chapter 8 for someone who’s romancing Nate, then someone who’s romancing Adam, and then those guys for their combat versions as well…What’s wrong with you?!’
Had a small panic after he put it that way, lol! But two versions sounds more manageable, so I’m gonna stick with saying that, hehe ;D
Now the time has come to make the decision of editing Chapter 7 or diving straight into F’s research scene (I mean, I may have already started it when I should have gone to Chapter 7 already, but you know what I’m like by now, hehe :D)
As always, I’m super eager to get to write, especially for F, but man if that Chapter 7 editing isn’t hanging over me still, lol.
So I think I’ll probably get to editing and get that done this week. Would be nice to get it checked off the list. I actually have quite a bit I want to add into Chapter 7, so it gives me an opportunity to do so before getting too deep into the beast that is Chapter 8!
SpunkyCatNinja has been working super hard on the subtitles for the YouTube Q&A videos as well! And Nai is working on getting the questions and prep done ready for our Book Three Demo themed YouTube vid which we’ll be recording this week!
So this week seems like it’s gonna be just as busy as usual, but it’s all full steam ahead here

I’m curious if its been confirmed by the author whether its possible for the MC and the LI to have biological children (assuming heterosexual of course). I know in certain fictional universes vampires can have children as long as the woman is the human. I think that vampires can have children with each other and make vampire babies (like Felix).
I get that your comment could be talking about adopted children, it just got me thinking about how the world works.
Yes, Sera has confirmed that vampires can have children, and that will almost definitely be an option for the MC and their RO in the epilogue of the last book. The children will also always turn out as vampires if one of their parents is a turned or Echolian vampire.
Hold on I thought the kids always turned out as human since someone asked sera that a long time ago.
Since we still don’t know the process of turning
I know Sera made a chart showing the different variations of couples and children on her blog. As far as I remember it always results in the child being a vampire, no matter whether they have a human parent and no matter if the vampire parent is Echolian or turned. I could totally be wrong though, but this is how I remember it.
EDIT: It seems that you are right, as back in 2017 Sera did say the vampire gene was recessive. I still quite distinctly remember that chart tho, so if anyone happens to find it feel free to post it here.

Oh GOD all this baby talk reminded me of Tokyo Ghoul and I wonder if similarly female humans are too weak for/have trouble bearing vampire children…
I actaully looked in up and this is what the author actually said when someone aske about children on her tumblr.
"Any child born between a vampire and a human would be human. Vampire DNA would act almost like a recessive gene (I’m guessing, I don’t really have a science mind!).
Kids and pregnancy won’t come up for the MC and the vampires in Wayhaven, as it’s too big a thing to add seeing as it’s a more action/dramam based series But, it doesn’t mean the topic might not come up and be discussed between the LI and the MC and what might happen in their future.

Oh boy, time for MC-LI kid speculation. These are always fun to watch.
Also importantly, apparently only natural vampires can have children together. So Farah would be the only vampire in UB able to have a child with another natural vampire. So, I wonder if our MCs will be forced to choose between turning or having kids, or if we can choose to have kids and then turn.
Edit: Now that I think about it, it seems we would have to make a choice, since acknowledging the fact that we’ll have to eventually see our human children die seems very out of tone for Wayhaven.
