Anyone who knows me, or has seen at least my post knows that I’m not big on marriage.
But I think for this game I’m gonna make an exception for Ava.
My mc will drag her ass to the Altar with this song and will insist it says AVA!
Do you know what I wished for in that scene?
(This is for A-Mancer, call it an Alternate Ending if you wish to lol)
Something like this…
Ava: Detective…
Mc: What’s wrong?
Ava: I can’t deny these feelings anymore, but I have to let you go.
Mc: Why? when we finally got here!!
Ava: Because I’m a wuss…and you are so strong.
Mc: Is that…your final decision?
Ava: yes. I have to let you go…please…please don’t hate me Detective.
Mc: I love you Ava…of course I can’t…no, won’t hate you.
Ava: Thank you…Detective.
Mc watch as Ava reach for the door
Mc: Ava?
Ava: Yes, Detective?
Mc: You may have made the choice to ‘Let me go’…
Ava:…?
Mc: It doesn’t mean I will let you get away with it!
Ava: Sigh Detective…this is for-… Clank
Ava: W-what ARE YOU DOING?!
Mc: Collar for the most stubborn mate ever! Until you grow a pair, you are wearing it!
Ava: You know I could just remove it…
Mc: You could try, but its powerful and against Vampire no matter their strength…
Ava: Growl
Mc: Though so…your training will start tomorrow at 1st light
Okay, M’s route was great, I loved it. And then the LT was heart-rending, as it should be. Overall I’d say that three routes were great (F, M, and LT), one was pretty good (N), and one… just didn’t work for me this time (A). Now to start the three year wait for the next book…
I wonder how the vamps will react when my MC tells them that they in fact do not want to become an immortal vampire themselves. Nat seems fairly sure of it at least so she’s in for a big surprise . Lots of angst upcoming!
Its interesting to see how the fandom’s reaction to the A route has evolved. I think A was probably the most popular RO at the end of Book 1 and is now firmly at the bottom at the end of Book 3. I do agree that M’s route is by far the best of Book 3. Shoutout to F’s route, that is suprisingly really good too! The N route is very good as expected.
That surprised me a bit, I was expecting them to have the opposite attitude. My MCs are quite divided on the subject. Most of them aren’t thrilled about going on a blood-only diet.
I admit that both of my primary MCs are definitely curious about what becoming a vampire would entail (not quite a yes, but not a hard no either). I’ll have to make one more skittish of the supernatural.
Whatever others have said and I don’t speak for other A-mancers, A is still my favorite even after all this time. I love how it evolves. Some might say there’s no progress… For me, it’s not about dating or being officially together but admitting their feelings to the Detective no less was progress enough that the one step back, in the end, doesn’t hurt as I expected it did. Also, the pep-talk by F to A was great, honest and true. I’m positive that A-mancers will have more progress in Book 4 but that’s probably me.
I don’t know… I still think doing the LT is masochists. lmao
Thank you for the screenshots!
I picked exactly the same choices as you did in my second run and I failed miserably… Maybe it’s the cautious stat that’s tied to that choice ( my MC is more impulsive).
On my first run I picked Bobby in the library and then I complimented them what a nice couple they make. I thought it was sarcastic but I guess not so another fail
For now. I’m sure we’ll see more of her in the next book. But me and @EvilChani are ready to kick her ass
Hello! Would you mind sharing your stats during that time and if it’s Captain Sung’s or the Mayor’s Setup? During my two runs both Mayor’s setup (A and M), I was able to apprehend the Karen with Haley’s and the Ice Cream fiasco one. I might look into the code for it. I always thought it is tied to your personality and should choose depended on your strength.
Edit:
Checking MayorSetup + Haley
Here are the stat check depending how you address the commotion over at Haley’s
The guide creators will be busy for sure since there’s a lot of situation in the Blood Drive section. ^^; If you mention your setup I could look it up for you.
I decided to keep him in the agency. I don’t trust his father at all, and there are only 3 scenarios I can think of:
1- The mayor find out about the Supernatural and the Agency, and use his kid like one of those anti-Mutants from X-men Movies.
2- The mayor find out same as above but instead kill his own son, and use that to hunt down the supernatural and have the agency dismanteled.
3- The mayor find out, and use the kid for his own gain while chaining him forever…so keep low profile.
Honestly, I couldn’t see a positive outcome here. The little I saw from the father (if you pick during the blood drive to go check on Douglas and fail the stat check, the way the mayor talk to him…is telling).
i agree with E_RedMark. i wanted him to stay in the agency so he’d be safer, so he’d also learn how to use his powers safely and not fall into the wrong hands (the greedy mayor). i assume the mc will also be able to protect douglas from the mayor if he’s staying in the agency, considering the mc is now an agent.
I went alone and I chose separate him from the agency. I know the author apparently made comments about how they want the agency to be a “good government agency”, but I am still pressing the doubt button. I have a feeling its like a (Spider-man No Way Home spoiler:) Andrew Garfield not being in Spider-man No Way Home kinda statement. They are saying it to keep the plot a surprise. Although maybe I’m just paranoid. What did you pick?
Even my accepting MCs are a hard no on vampire immortality. There are different viewpoints on it obviously. I just hope its not forced on us like the MC resigning from Wayhaven PD to become an Agent full-time. Obviously its far too much for the author to code 2 paths for plus its hinted at throughout the series how much stress MC is under wearing both the part-time Agent hat and Wayhaven Detective hat. Still I was like when that came up because MC being having to juggle the Detective role was like a huge part of who they were. A choice at the end of the series would be better to avoid any insane branching and another forced role .
I remember Miskha mentioning on one of her asks that we get to choose at the end. At least, there will be choice for the epilogue probably. I understand why some were upset that we were unable to choose to turn down being an agent but with the author’s plan of 7 books, I could see why she decided to leave being a detective behind.
