basically hailey will interrupt whatever it is you two where doing and ask if youre done with your food. then she will comment that she didnt knew you were seeing someone. M will reply with “the only thing the mc is seeing is me naked” implying the fact that while you two act like that you have no labels and M just wants sex (ouch ). you can choose how to react to that to which you will get a lovely pov from M where they will feel all shit for saying that and will try to apologize

Yeah, this was about my reaction too. I actually really enjoyed the choice to say that the detective being naked was way more important to M because that’s exactly what I was thinking as soon as M said that, but of course anyone who has heard me talk about Cat know she would never say that, so she was just did the abruptly leave, while hiding tears option, so then I got secondhand embarrassment for both of them M for being M and for Cat for crying in public only to run into Bobby at the station which made for a very pleasant morning I’m sure. I head cannon that there was some crying in the bathroom after that one, probably with Tina.
I loved this scene as well. Unfortunately Areylia would never say that until they were explicitly in a relationship, and even then not with F and M around. She still enjoys messing with Adam though. I think my personal favorite was this scene:

That’s what I wanted Dezh to say (and I forced it once to see what would happen), but she just got up and left. It hit her, in that moment, just how deeply she feels for him (she’s totally in love, but she doesn’t want to think those words). Of all the times to get a freaking clue about your feelings, Dezh, why is it when Mason tells you that you’re a fucktoy???
Thankfully, there were no tears–Dezh was stoic and just got up and left. Then was pissed off when she went to the warehouse (because being pissed off is way better than having other emotions for her). Honestly, there’s no way in hell she would have actually gone there, at that point, so I’m trying to come up with a head canon as to why she went there despite her… emotions.
Aww, Cat! Dezh’s solution would’ve been to go to fight club, work out till she’s ready to drop, or punch things until her knuckles are bloodied and busted. You know, a healthy way… 
For A, you guys get the funny scenes with him. My A-mancer is just like, “whatever” and goes about her business. She literally does not care at this point and walks away whenever she has the choice. Yes, she is attracted to him and could fall for him, but his attitude has made her kind of give up. Not in a sad way, more in a “screw this” kinda way. She’s very laid back but his games are just eye-roll worthy to her. It’s pretty much the only way I can enjoy that route, lol.

I made another MC that I rarely use to see the differences on M’s path if you sleep together cause Cat won’t and that chick did say this, so I did get it eventually.

Lukas can be like this as well although Nat romance plus best friend Farah is (at least for now) way less drama so this comes out less for him than usual.
I like to think that Cat went to see Nate who’s her best friend, and ended up finding Mason, but I’m not sure that thought process would work for Dezh. Plus Cat is super forgiving in general (I mean the woman was nice to Murphy while he was kidnapping her. )

I just scan the code to see what happens in various instances. That way I don’t have to waste time creating another character… especially for M, because Dezh would kill whoever it was, lol.
For real. I didn’t quite get what was going on in her head, at first. Usually, she will snark about stuff like that or play along, but she just left. I had to write it out from her POV to finally get it. Then I felt bad!
I tried sticking Dezh with Nate, but it just didn’t work. As friends, however, I’m finding they work well, but her bestie in her main run is Adam, so there’s no help there coming at all. Basically, she’s in this misery over Mason alone.
I do have to add, Haley needs some damned manners, though. You just don’t walk up and ask shit like that. It’s not cool. I think that was one of those situations where Sera wanted a dramatic moment that led M to being a dick, but it really did seem to be a snafu on Haley’s part and I don’t particularly like her, at this point. Neither does Dezh.
Nope, that wouldn’t work for Dezh. She isn’t going there to see Adam, who refuses to use her name, even if they do get along. And she can’t talk to Felix or Nate about that stuff, so she’d just avoid the lot of them. I really do need to sit down and come up with something that makes sense for her as a character. God mode her into going there for a reason that works for her!
But geez, Cat was nice to Murphy?? Dezh threatened him, lol. And was a huge pain in the ass (because she’s Dezh). If she ever sees him again, she’ll probably kick his ass for the fun of it. She tends to hold grudges about certain things…

I had to do this for Riley after she rejected a relationship with Felix… again. (Sometimes this woman.) Then I realized she wws scared, for good reason, but i was baffled for the longest time.

Yeah… this was a big shake my hear moment. I was just like, he kidnapped you! You dont have to be nice anymore, but she was having none of it. Aparently getting kidnapped is not enough reason to not br polite…

This is my A-mancer too, though she’s not the laid-back type, she’s the stubborn-as-all-get-out type. She’s never chased A and she’s not going to start chasing him. Only once he gets off the “We Can Never Be Together” bandwagon will she start making any actual moves toward a relationship. She’s got no time for this crap. 
My M-mancer is sort of in the same boat, but she’s the quiet, patient type who’s hoping he’ll get a love-related clue someday, and is willing to hang out with him as “just friends” until he does.

All of my MCs are “shy”.
The M-mancer is the least shy out of all of them—if anything, she’s only “shy” because she was initially flustered by Mason, and her own attraction to him; in Book 2, she’s quite up-front that she wants more than a purely physical relationship from Mason (which is why they haven’t done any “physical activities” together).
The F-mancer is quite shy, but she and Felix ended up with an “opposites attract” dynamic over time. The two of them actually got together in Book 2, and the paper airplane scene in MC’s office was the best. I wonder what Book 3 will hold for them.
The A-mancer and Adam…ouch. Neither of these two idiots can spit it out. They work quite well together, and the feelings simmer below the surface, ready to boil over, but neither she nor he voice them. Book 3 is going to be painful for them. Although, I’m not complaining: I signed up for hard slow burn and I am getting what I wanted.
I wonder if I should put the A-mancer with Nate, just to give the poor girl some comfort in at least one play through.

When you don’t like the book, then its your opinion, but you should know that when you buy a book and you read it and you don’t like it, you know then that you shouldn’t buy more Wayhaven books. Every author has a different style of writing and even when some writing style dosen’t suit you, you can just ignore it and go to another author that suits you better with the writing. I never saw a author be disrespectful, if you have a problem that some works of them take years to publish you should go and see their perspective. Think about how long would you take to write such a story? A week? No. A month? No. Because that takes all strenght to make it perfect. They need coding skills and writing skills. I really don’t wanted to sound mad, but i don’t think that you can to all of it better. The author’s have a personal life too, and some of them don’t have the time of the world to write a book in a month or year. And not all people can ignore such comments, some of them can take such words to heart and that can hurt them more than you can think of.

Progress Report - The Wayhaven Chronicles 15th July 2022
Considering summer is my least favourite season, it seems to be working for me at the moment, hehe! 
Another fantastically productive week! My goal for this week was to finish the common opening for Chapter 15, and maybe, hopefully, get one of the split scenes in it finished.
But then an unexpected thing arose where I went to write some foreshadowing for a certain event that happened…except for some reason I hadn’t actually written that event in at the end of Chapter 9 where it was supposed to be, lol!
I couldn’t even find the plan for it. I thought I was going a bit loopy, because the scene is a very important one, and I can play it with very vivid clarity in my head, so I thought I must have written it already.
But it turns out it the plan was in Chapter 10’s plans because I needed to switch it around. The way I ended up writing Chapter 9’s ending was different than what I had thought, so that scene just wouldn’t fit there. It would have been way too confusing.
So I put it in with Chapter 10, just actually forgot to write it! So I went and wrote out that scene, as well as it’s variations for the different characters.
Then I added in a new opening scene to Chapter 15 to account for this and the foreshadowing that’s coming. So yeah, a lot of unexpectedly extra stuff this week, but I still got everything I wanted done! Including already finishing one of the split scenes and starting one of the others!!
I’m hoping I might even be able to finish off this split scene tomorrow, which means I would only have one left to finish up Chapter 15! Though this split scene I’m currently working on is something I’ve changed completely from the plan, so I’m having to go where it’s taking me. The plan just didn’t work for what has happened already, and I’ve changed how one of the branches is going to go, but that’s the fun of writing! The characters and stories will sometimes find their own way!
