@Arcane_warrior Well, you’ll be able to get some basic provisions soon enough, but it won’t be a HUGE thing. And as soon as you get your Soul Stone, that’ll basically be your weapon for the game.

CHAPTER THREE IS OUT!
I have updated the demo! I was going to take longer to update it, because I wanted to beta test first, but my beta tester will be gone this week, and I couldn’t wait that long, so I did it now. I did my best with testing, but there will be probably things I missed😅 Please let me know when you find something! And tell me what you think of it! Thanks!

About bedtime for me, so I can’t give much coherent general feedback beyond liking it, but I did spot a typo:
“Ehem… Maybe be should skip any further discussion for now. We can talk about it later,” Straasa tries to salvage the situation, and although he is speaking to you, you can see him sneak worried glances toward the stairs where Morkai disappeared. He obviously wants to follow him.
That be should probably be a we, no?
I’ve cleared all the Data in my browser like 10 times and your demo still ends after Chapter 2. I feel dumb. lol

@Kanaya It does?! Hmm, maybe I made some mistake with the coding… Can you please tell me who was the last guy you had a scene with? And if your MC knew about Dorlas or not? This info will make it easier for me to search the code…
Edit: I checked and it loads for me? I don’t know what could be wrong😭 I’ll keep looking.
Edit 2: Have you replayed Chapter 2? I updated the code a few days back and put in an important script. Chapter 3 won’t play without it, so you have to replay Chapter 2 for the script to kick in.

@Morgan_V Cleared all my Data in my browser, cache, cookies etc from today to the start of time and all and right after telling Straasa I’m fine at the end of chapter 2, I am greeted with this. No matter how many times I clear all the data out of my browser (literally all of it) and reopening. So I don’t know if Chrome is just being stupid or what. Lol
@Kanaya Yeah, I can see that it displays the title but not the rest of the text. Are you using a save game from Dashingdon? You could try playing it from the beginning… It’s probably the script thing, damn. I’ll keep looking, but everything loads for me, so it’s difficult to pinpoint.
Edit: It’s definitely the script, it’s not loading for you. Try playing it from the start, and overwrite any savegames you may have made. That’ll probably fix it. I hope…
@Morgan_V I have no save games and I’ve started from the beginning every time I loaded the thing. Including when I tried reading after I purged all the data out of my browser and reopening it lol.
@Kanaya In that case, I have no idea what could be the problem… Try another browser? Or try to refuse the bandit at the beginning any information about yourself so that you’ll get the alternate branch? To see if the chapter will load on that path.
That’s the branch I’ve been using. But I’ll try something else in a bit.
Wonderfully written! I especially like the way you write prose, very enjoyable to read overall. And I don’t think you’ve come even near the line for the WIP to be moved to adult section. The backstory does have heavy tone to it, but imo not enough to warrant AO tag.
One thing I noticed though there are a lot of instances where MC is being touched or handled in some manner - that felt like an irritating disregard of personal space. Could we have an option at some point to tell the guilty party off?
@Kanaya have you tried dev mode (F12), then right click refresh button and choose “empty cache and hard reload”? You need to do that on a WIP tab.

Oops. I should have gone to bed now! 
If I am awake after getting out to bed tomorrow (er, later today…) I shall endeavour to provide hopefully slightly coherent feedback.
@anon8836198 Thank you! I really like writing prose, so at times I have issues with putting enough choices in. I’m like "it’s interactive, Morgan, not a novel"
As far as the personal touching goes, you’ll be able to tell Morkai to stop it with the touchy. Not sure about Straasa, but I could consider it? Or be more aware when I’m writing to not make them so grabby.

@Morgan_V I just played the update and all I gotta say was I’m in love with every update you write! I love the characters! the mc! even the bad guy! gosh you are such a good writer! the update was worth the wait!
