Maybe, but the MC noticed how B flirted with R many times and if you pick that 4th option they also catch on to R changing their phone password and lying about where they were a couple of times. Maybe could be worded better as the MC suspected instead of knew, either way it doesn’t have anything to do with the relationship being exclusive.

Well, see, I still don’t know that the relationship is exclusive, nor is that relevant at all because it’s not the reason they broke up according to that screenshot. The reason is that R doesn’t love the MC anymore. That reason makes sense. But should definitely come up before they break up.
It seems like the major issue here is that you find out that R is cheating after you make the decision of how to feel about it, and only if you make certain choices, whereas before you may suspect it, but don’t actually know.
Seriously. I’ve already given plenty of evidence that it was exclusive. The cheating is relevant to them breaking up, R fell out of love so they cheated and the MC found out. If R had come forward about their feelings instead of cheating maybe they could’ve worked it out, but the MC has no positive feelings about the cheating which made fixing that relationship pretty much impossible at that point. Either way I’m done you clearly have your mind set up and I’m too lazy to continue talking about it.

I don’t think I will ever understand monogamous relationship dynamics. None of this is obvious to me at all, even after your explanations.
I did figure out what happened the first time though. It seems I accidentally tapped through that reaction choice with option 4 somehow. So I completely missed an entire scene and it just looked like MC was blatantly ignoring R for no reason at all. Even so, I definitely cannot play this character. They are simply way too fundamentally different from me.

Also I am confused why MC is considered in a open relation or poly. If its not clear that MC is in monogamous relation I dont see how it equals that MC is in an open relation

Uh… if it’s not clear then that generally means the player should be able to decide or it should just not come up in the story… there is no choice to do that.
Also I definitely still think the MC is a bad person, but it’s a whole slew of things and not just one thing.

Hey I’ve been keeping an eye on this but didn’t get a chance to sit down and say anything really until now.
I would just like to say that this is a journey for me too! When I decided to put my work out there, it was done with the understanding that the story won’t resonate with everyone or be enjoyable to everyone, and I respect that. I do read every comment and take it to heart in terms of looking for ways to improve the writing, story telling and clarity, but again I know that I can’t please everyone even if I try really hard and I’m okay with that!
It’s not going to be perfect no matter how hard I try, but there might be things I change along the way. I value people reaching out even with critical feedback that will help me improve as a writer, because this is the first time that I’ve worked on anything like this!
I just ask that people understand that I’m doing my best, it’s not perfect, but I am just some tired, stressed out lady on a laptop lol.
Anyway, I’ve gotten what I can from this interaction in terms of a few points I might be able to clarify, but other than that I don’t think I have anything else I can say other than what I replied with before.

@Thourne Just to let you know, i love this. The break up between MC and R is realistic. I know this from firsthand experience. It happened to me. Your right that some people wont like it, but thats their problem. You have fans and i know this because i am one. Keep up the good work.

@Thourne Im trying to emerse myself in any/all WIP’s because i lost my pet nearly a month ago. And this is one of the best (my opinion) out there.
I’m happy that something I’ve done has helped you get through a tough time even if it’s only a little, but I’m beyond sorry for your loss. Never easy to lose a pet

@Thourne Its hard but i try to remember all the good times. Her unconditional love. I won’t lie, i miss her like crazy, but remembering the good brings a smile to my face. She was a funny little thing. Funnily enough, she thought she was a male dog and kept on trying to hump peoples legs 
(I’m smiling as i write this, it hard not to when i remember that)
