Same… I come across something once when I looking at fanfiction and when I said something to the actual website they said it was fine and that they won’t going to do anything about it because it was a fictional story with fictional characters… 
And @Kagerou_Dayz666 I do remember that but at the time I didn’t really take it in… so I didn’t think about it too much. ( ADHD and Dyslexia for the win once again ) 
Yeah, it wasn’t a really big thing either. It was just her mentioning it briefly then moving on lol, I just read it and got a paragraph later then was like ‘wait what did I just read?’ It seemed out of no where when I caught it.

Sam revised a scene in chapter 4 and is wondering if y’all still consider this as belonging in the “Adult” category?
If it’s in regards to the poison addition then I don’t think so, it didn’t seem that graphic in nature. It’s no worse than the execution in terms of violence, so if this wasn’t already set to adult then I don’t see a reason to change it over.

Because I’m curious to hear what other people think about the choices/scenes that have been removed altogether since the game was first posted?
And I’m also wondering what people think about the rewriting in general?
I’m asking because I love to read everyone thoughts or you know messages in general and since this game got moved there hasn’t been that much of a discussion or just things you would normally see in WIP thread.
@fisheye Same I just replayed the game and the new version is so much tamer if not kind of boring compared to what it used to so yeah it really doesn’t need to be here anymore.
Because as far as I can tell anything that is to do with adult stuff is gone altogether plus if you look at the new version next to any game on here the violent gory scenes aren’t that bad anymore.
Definitely a fantastic game so far! My two criticisms would be a lack of character creation and no explanation for stats. Other than those two minor things, I love it!
I remember playing that WIP a very long time ago, it has changed a lot since then.
My only problem so far is that there doesn’t seems to be all that much of a difference between succeeding and failing.
I haven’t played the new version, but I skimmed through the code. Definitely seems like all the adult content has been removed. I’m… not sure why. Were people complaining about it or something? Or was it just that the author wanted to be able to see the forum post? I honestly thought that was the best part of the game, and I don’t really see any reason to play it at all anymore.
I don’t think anyone’s been complaining (that I know of) but I guessing remaining in an adult category would probably limit how it would be able to be sold considering the HG app has a teen rating.
Oh, I didn’t know that. I’ve always played on desktop and not mobile, so I don’t really know anything about the app. So the HGs with adult content are only available on desktop?
It is not. I play any and all of the games just fine through the app, adult or otherwise. Plenty of adult rated games do well. Not so sure about gore vs romance adult content. But I don’t think this story was aiming to not be dark? I know there was questionable content, such as the suggested sexual assault and suggested incest.
I don’t know how it works, but I would assume by including games with graphic content, especially of the kind you are suggesting might be enough to risk getting the rating of the omnibus bumped up from Teen (the definition of which is may contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, and/or infrequent use of strong language) to Mature/Adults only (Content is generally suitable for ages 17 and up. May contain intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content and/or strong language) depending on the nature of the stuff included which would wipe out a whole section of readers from being able to access the app at all. You’d have to ask COG directly what their policy on this is though as I don’t know.
Kind of off topic, so could add to the one I started the other week as I was curious how this was being handled as well rather than derail this WIP further if you wanted to discuss it further.
Edit: Since I last checked, the omnibus has been bumped to mature anyway.
From what I remember from my lurking days, the more dark content was probably changed due to the drama that popped up a few times surrounding the author’s games like the magic serial killer one.
Wasn’t there a time this game was called something like ‘the narcissist / sociopath Necromancer’?
