Which foster parent do you escape with the most often?
I couldn’t answer 4 or 6 because I’ve done all of those things (I’ve done pretty much everything in the game multiple times and have spent a lot of playthroughs developing absurdly high stat characters; I have over 400 saves between LH1 and LH2 now). I will say that for 4, I prefer to be either very good or very evil; I don’t go middle route, but both are fun to play. However, when I go very evil, I still tend to pick options in LH2 that keep the citizenry happy with me, rather than destroying my reputation with them so I end up with high stats in both citizen reputation and citizen fear.
With question 6, I’ve done all of that and there’s good and bad points to all of them (except specializing completely in sage is pointless, because it’s third level is bugged and doesn’t give the stat boost it claims it does).
Well I mean, if you’re gonna be an asshole, you might as well look cool doing it. Who wants to be a common thug when you can be an evil priest, a necromancer or a dark knight?
I also agree that 4 and 6 don’t make much sense, I’m sure if you’ve played multiple times you will have tried out good and evil and not just stuck to one. And I’d be interested to know if these polls are being used for anything. Maybe the more popular classes/characters will get fleshed out more in LH3? Would like some more depth in some of the romances
i hope the LI part of the polls wont influence the story @Lucid… like how liara was forced to be the “canon” love interest for shep in ME, i dont want a canon or a biased LH3 to cater more for jess lovers… LH2 had too much jess development, hope the other LI’s get a fair dose this time…
Every choice matters. So, no worry that one version could become more canon than another.
I have mixed ideas when I see these polls. For instance, it makes me want to add more Thug and Sister Geri things so people will like these parts as much as me. But, at the same time, it makes me want to add more of the popular things so more people see it.
So, in the end, I don’t think it will change the future of the story in the least.
I think many of the love interests will change and expand as people also find the others more attractive through LH3.
We will see our companions making romantic connections of there own. Psychologically, people will see this and may find themselves envious and seek their company on future playthroughs.
A full trilogy run will be very interesting, I think.
Yessssss, angsty characters get a lot of love from us (look at Lancelot from Guenevere ), and brooders are also quite liked by themselves. Mix them up and you get the definitive RO (or at least most liked, by popular vote) Hahaha, I’m such a sap
Oh? Like with Dragon Age or Mass Effect, where some un-romanced ROs end up with each other? (But in this case not necessarily with another of the companions, though a Jace/Jess with Peter/Petra would be kinda funny)
Jace/Jess fill in a category that attracts both people attracted to man and woman.
For those attracted to man: the Brooding angst.
For those attraced to woman: the Tsundere archetype.
What about love for your horse? We could make our horse a Duke/Duchess and so forth. That would indeed encourage people to seek their horse’s company on future play sessions. Brilliant.
