Does anyone know how to successfully get away with playing as a nobleman when attending the feast?
First when asked what to wear in the party choose noblemans outfit then tell the guard that you were invited by princess hannah, and that you are from a far away kingdom of fragglesworth. Next a man approaches you, choose âjust go with itâ. Then if asked is fragglesworth tell em its far north. That is as far as i know. sorry about that

Frustrated to get some of the achievements in The Great Tournament? After reading this you shall know how to get them! Letâs start now!
~Secret Achievement~
I donât really want to ruin the fun, but if you insist I can first give you some hint⌠It takes place in the feast when you go to the capital with Sir Robert for the first time. The solution can be seen at the end of this post
Ruthless: Finish the game with a high dark stat.
Merciful: Finish the game with a high light stat.
Tournament Champion : Win the Great Tournament
Do I really have to explain how to get these 3 achievements?! Donât tell me that you have difficulties in finishing the game!
WarriorsâŚassemble!: Get a full team for the team melee.
What we do in life, Echoes in Eternity: Win the team melee at the festival.
Very easy and can be finished at the same time. For those who do not even bother finding your teammates, you can find a teammate each by choosing âenjoy the festivitiesâ, âlook for pp > weapon shop > carverâ, âlook for pp > game standsâ, âlook for pp > large kidâ.
Bullseye!: Beat Varys at Darts
Actually I think that this is one of the most difficult achievements. I had many trials and found out that 1. agility does not matter, 2. there might be specific sequences, 3. the successful sequence for me is 5 marks for the first 2 dart (1+4) > x2 for 1G > bullseye (probably explains the name of this achievement).
Down with the monarchy!: Change the government of Magincia from a monarchy to a republic
King of Magincia: Become king of magnicia
Prince: become heir to the throne
All of them are choices of the Boon of the Great Tournament. For the King of Magincia, when that old guy ask you what would you ask for as you boon, you have to answer that you would replace the king.
Save Sir Robert: Find and rescue Sir Robert.
Well⌠Iâd say itâs easy because I got it in my first game. You need little wisdom. When a servant give you cup of wine you can âask where Franklin isâ or âexamine the wineâ. Donât let Sir Robert drink the wine (poisoned). Then watch Sir Robert beaten up in the woods. Finally, ask for something that grants you power for the boon of the Great Tournament.
Secret Meeting: Follow Sir Robert to a secret meeting.
This one might be a bit hard for some people. I spent some time figuring when would Sir Robert attend a meeting and got it in the second attempt. When you go to the capital for the first time, Sir Robert will ask you to keep him out of trouble at a certain point after the feast. Choose âfollow Sir Robertâ > âtell him the truthâ. I also figured out that you need some wisdom so that Robert will take you to the meeting (probably 3+ wisdom).
Sherlock: Uncover which noble is working for Sir Cuthvell.
This one might also be difficult for some people. However, it is elementary for me. This achievement clearly follows the previous one as this is the only chance other than feasts for you to meet other nobles. I wonât stop you from trying 3 times to see which is correct, but you should know Science of Deduction well 
The correct choice is the last one (the young silent noble). He is clearly tempting Sir Robert to say what he think of Sir Cuthvell at the end of the meeting. Sherlock got it correct in one go, how about you?
Midas Finish the game with 8,000 gold or more.
Make the deal with Cuthvell and Yield the finals if you wish. You may also mine at Northbury. In fact, if you choose to mine, you donât have to care about the time. You would miss the kingâs feast but you would never miss the tournament however late you are (basically a bug).
Keen Eye: Reveal enemy spy activities.
Also an easy one as you can immediately relate it with the war. When you take the Guard duty, look through the merchantâs paper and keep searching the drawings.
I know magic: Learn to use fire magic.
You clearly need to talk to Ben. But besides the war and the days before the Great Tournament, when can you talk to Ben? Before the 300 days starts you can choose to train for a few things. Choose intelligence and you will be able to talk to Ben and attempt to learn fire magic. Then you will see there are 3 choice, choose the last one âclear your thoughtsâ.
Bandit Killer: Defend Redwood from Bandits
This one should be easy. After the kingâs feast, you will receive a letter from the mayor of Redwood. Go and talk to him, then you know what to do.
Solomon: Beat the game with a high wisdom stat.
There are so many chance to increase your wisdomâŚ
Expert: Beat the game with a high score.
Veni, Vidi, Vici: Beat the game on hard.
It isnât hard to finish these 2 achievements. In case you canât finish it on hard, here are 2 tips.
You can mine at Northbury and use all your money to buy armor. Each armor increase your maximum health by 20. In my experience, 100+ max health is more than enough. You can also increase your maximum health by âexploring the rocky cliffsâ > âexplore around the mountainsâ. You have some chance of finding a lake and drink the water. Each time you get +10 to your maximum health. Basically, as you stack your max health, you are invincible in melee combats. The only problem is the jousting semi-finals of the great tournament.

Royal Kazoo Player: Convince the guard you play the kazoo for the King
When you choose you outfit for the feast, choose the servant outfit (1G).
Then, âuse the back entranceâ > âmake something upâ > âI forgot itâ.

Itâs some kind of an easter egg of swamp castle. In swamp castle there was the option to bluff your way into a tavern by making yourself some fictional lord (fragglesworth) and here they made this lord a real one. You need to follow the same things you say in swamp castle ( a house in the north, has special lightweight rocks that float on water and can be used to make boats) Later there are some funny scenes with it

Hey Iâve got a question, Iâm on my own now to train and explore as I see fit. But where ever I go I seem to be unable to attend tournaments⌠I also couldnât enlist myself for the kings tournament either. I assume for example day 20 means 300 - 20 days = 280 days left? Or am I making a mistake?
Quick question, I hear people saying you could save Sir Robert, but how?
Just donât let him drink the poisoned wine (you need 10 wisdom at least to recognize the drink is suspicious). He will survive in the end even after all the assassins attacked him and when you become a king/prince you will find him in the dungeons.
Well I did learn fire magic from academy but couldnt use it at final battle.whats going wrong I only have low leadership stat rest are good I think.
Chose to marry Hannah and had 16 children.
Mining is best source of income.Got 4-5 diamond ores.
Agility does matter when playing darts vs Varys I chose all agility and all my shots were Bullseye.and after I got to 9 agility all archery shots were Bullseye too.So main focus should be on intelligence,agility and riding i guess.
Edit : if you manage to fool nobles at party that you are fagglesworth then you can visit Warrington town and go explore rocky mountains.There youll meet a noble who wanted to build a boat with floating rocks.you can convince him to negotiage for 12k price and he will give you a downpayment of 5k gold so that will give a considerable boost.Best if done right after party.might take few days but its worth the trouble.
Wow good for u! But if I may ask, was that achieved on hard mode? Coz I play on hard mode all the time and that kind of end stats seems unimaginable XD.
P.S. anyone know the requirements to court Nadine? Somehow Iâm unable to do so anymore despite having replayed this game several times already haha.
Also, I cant seem to ever get the option of âthrowing sand into thrallâs eyesâ during the actual battle with him. Any insights?

To begin with, you have to let her join your party. Do not turn her away when she applies for you. Next, choose her for the scouting role. After that, DO NOT attack with your companions during the ambush. For me, I chose to train about 50 foot soldiers and the rest spearmen, that way I used the spearmen for the enemy horses then the foot soldiers for the rest. This applies also for the bandits (shoot the leader, use the footsoldiers). Once you get to the camp, train with her and choose to learn from her when she asks if you want to stay awhile. Also, allow Ben to leave because itâll be helpful later on. When the war starts, join her at the archers. Now you can choose to either shoutout for everyone to duck or you can choose to pull nadine done to duck with you. (I chose the former because 5/5 of my games, she survived.) Do your best in the fighting and DO NOT retreat. She should have survived if you followed these steps.
Now when it goes into training for the tournament, itâs best if you visit her first. If possible, lose to her in the archery, then choose to kiss her. If you win, you donât get this chance so :^(. After, go hunting and catch 1 fox and 1 rabbit or 2 of either. Talk to her about the book and tell her you like the fight scenes. Gift her the fox and the rabbit. Visit her again and you can confess your love to her.

How do we save Sir robert? I played for the second time, and i was thinking if we head back to save robert instead of rushing to leave him with the letter to Melinda, i thought that would save robert and have a happy end T^T but then i failed again :â(âŚ
