It’s nice to have this spirit, but you’ll have to be realistic. According to a poll by the Interactive Fiction Forum, the majority of IF authors do not want to do this as a living, even if it becomes commercially viable to do so- they would rather have this as a hobby- myself included- I do this to relax. Most projects in Hosted are in fact of this nature. And you’re welcome! The link between fans and producers is always problematic, sadly. Keep up this spirit, write a little every day, and you’ll be on your way.
Oh ofc ! I realize not everyone wants to do this full time! I mean I know a lot of authors do have a full time job and do this on the side! I’m just saying I appreciate everything that y’all do! I mean you spend your free time doing this and putting out quality content. That just touches me. That knowing the genre I love so much and am passionate about are written with such love and care!!! It’s like my my husband says, he has a master’s degree in computer science. He’s a software developer. But he loves building computers. I ask him why he doesn’t do it for a living. He always says because he wants to keep it a hobby rather than his job. Otherwise he says he might come to hate it. And if he were to do it as a job he may not enjoy building computers anymore. So I totally see what you’re saying!!

Just Hadrian and Alessa. And they’re both bisexual. But you meet rest of the ROs in book 1 and can flirt with them you just can’t start a romance with them yet.

Technically you can start romance with the others as well, in the sense depending on your choice of actions the romance flags get set one way or the other.

No that is incorrect. Ana has stated you can flirt with them but nothing is initiated yet. Unless you’re referring to them remembering you than yes they’ll remember you. But nothing is officially “started” till book 2.

Ah that happens when you’re writing. Those characters begin writing their own lives and the authors are forced to listen and re-work what they began.
I’m happy to wait for those changes, because she sounds like she feels it’s really meant to be this way.
