Wild Women in French Bastile Prison the XXX version doesn’t count for your college paper
Too bad. You just had to break my dreams and hopes did you?
No, seriously, before I go too off-topic.
I hate editing my own writing. Might be why I take so long deciding upon the words I’ll write.
Agreed. I got lucky today; tomorrow expect me back at about 300 words. Spontaneous writing is something I’m not good at.
@Fiogan is missing today
Maybe she is still writing with her eyes closed and doesn’t realize the time?
Try writing with a pen on a notepad for the first draft. You won’t be able to delete or edit anything, and you’ll write slower. In fact, since you’ll be writing slower, your mind will actually have time to edit stuff before it hits the paper. You might find it works better. Then, when you actually type it up, you can spend all the time you want editing it.
Personally, I find myself more creative when I start with a pen and paper.
I do have a composition book and pencil (it works better for me) before I write - its where I put my research notes, thoughts, quotes, etc… actually writing the scenes tho, I dunno, only writing fragments work for me on paper. idk. I’m still learning everything though.
30 Minutes until challenge time!
Competition Time!

I told you, this app is really helpful
Words: 781
Characters: 4165
Well, today I actually went backwards:
Words: 252
Characters (no Spaces): 1144
Characters (with spaces): 1392.
I actually started my time by erasing about 500 words ><
That’s the bad way Eiwynn!!! Don’t do that!
@Renab you won! That’s lots of words.
I think that’s a new record for me…
It’s probably because I was writing a dramatic scene. I always write drama faster than anything else, haha.
I had a hard time getting in a writing mood today. I took a nice bath and sort of lounged about earlier so I was sort of just relaxing. Then 5 minutes before the challenge, I realized the time so I rushed to get started. sigh. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll be like I was yesterday.
I believe in you! There’s always days when writing is harder but those usually don’t last long.
I’ll cheer you on Eiwynn! You can do it!
I always write internal thoughts faster than anything else.
I really need to learn how to type correctly. So I won’t ever have to look at the keyboard! And type faster!
Congrats @RenaB
I wrote my part with the most dangerous writing app. Really useful.
@Eiwynn. You’ll see, in no time, you’ll write 500+ words!
What I like about the challenge is forcing myself to write even when not in the writing mood. I am hoping that after a month of writing 15 minutes a day I will get into the habit of doing so and I will be able to write every day. For me the word count doesn’t even matter that much. It just matters that I’m doing something every single day.
And trying my best.
