As amusing as all that was, above all I am just plain confused as to what the heck Iā€™m doing (well, in the prologue, anyway).

This is what happens in the prologue:

1 - Dark Wizard creates the MC, dying in the process because of the explosion.

2 - MC wakes up in a cave. The narrator helps him.

3- After the character creation, you choose who the MC grew up with.

All this stuff is the part 1/3 of chapter 1.

In this chapter, the MC just needs to find a way to survive and make some allies.

chapter 2 is the chapter where the MC (Now 18 years old) finds 3 adventurers who are on a quest. So, this is where the game actually starts.

hey there, found something you missed, itā€™s not a bug, just more of an inconsistency in the way you programmed certain choices. I found out that when it comes to fur color, confirmation is asked for the other colors, but if you hit orange, it continues without asking for confirmation.
Also, I was given no abilities after investigating each one, may be a bug flying around in thereā€¦

You are not the first person to report that, some players have PMā€™d me saying the same thing.

I added the choice to go back for black and green because those options could have negative effects later in the story.

Orange is the default color, no side effects, so I didnā€™t add it.

But I guess you guys won. Iā€™m going to add the choice to go back in the next update.

Edit: about not getting any abilitiesā€¦

Known bugs:

-Sometimes, you end up having no abilities, and sometimes you end up having 2 of them, still trying to fix it.

That is a really weird bug, because the code looks flawless to me, and it seems to happen at random. Iā€™m trying to hunt it down u.u

the first bug was a moth that was pulled out of a computer, modern ones are a little harder to locate. Also, may want to add effects that will balance the other fur colors. They should have both positives and negatives and the orange can remain neutral.

Yep. I am actually writing about it right now, it counts as an extreme manifestation of the chaotic evil side of the MC.

I am currently working on the next update, it is going to be much longer than this version.

This demo was posted mostly to show the backstory and explain some of the plot :smile:

Since I donā€™t want to let this thread gather too much dust in a dark corner, I am going to post a little spoiler about the romance options here.

Right now, there are 2 confirmed romance options in the game:

  • Stella, the 22 years old Human Huntress who lives in the town of Darnassea

  • Azekai, the 14 years old Weredragon who is currently being hunted by humans after ā€œaccidentallyā€ attacking a village.

I have been thinking about allowing the player to be homosexual, but I feel like people would find it offensive because the characters would react realistically, since the world is not all unicorns and rainbows (It is a medieval-ish setting after all, so it wouldnā€™t make sense if the NPCs accepted a homosexual relationship right away.)

Again, I am not homophobic, it is just that not allowing that choice sounds more reasonable because nobody would feel offended by something I wrote.
