The 2025 IFDB for Outstanding Choicescript game could use more votes!

Hello! Each year, the Interactive Fiction Database runs a series of polls on the best games of the previous year.

This year, we have an especially low number of voters in the Choicescript category, mostly because the average IFDB user only plays free games.

We’d love it if enough people could vote in this poll to bring it up to 5 votes total for the winner. Votes are not limited to games that are already in the poll; any Choicescript games from 2025 listed in the database are fair game.

We ask that people only vote in the Choicescript category unless they are familiar with games from other systems, in which case they’re free to do as they please.

We made a similar plea to the Godot community, and they came out in force, voting for a variety of Godot games including 15 votes for Loner Dog. We’d love it if just a few people from here would be able to similarly upvote their favorite Choicescript games! Participants are not limited to voting for one game in the poll.

The poll closes on the 15th at midnight (sorry for waiting so long to post!) and can be found here:

Thanks for those who have voted; we have enough to award a winner now, but any further votes will be counted (and could change the outcome!)
